Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! show debuted earlier this month at Epcot® – and Guests are loving it!
In the show at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase, Star-Lord and Gamora from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” join forces with a live band visiting from the planet Xandar to take guests on a musical journey through the cosmos. Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! features hits from Star-Lord’s Awesome Mixtapes – fun and favorite tunes from the two movie soundtracks. You can catch the show daily through Aug. 19, 2018 as a part of Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World® Resort.

Celebrating the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Resort
Independence Day is less than a month away, and the parks at Walt Disney World®Resort will be celebrating our nation’s birthday with some star-spangled salutes to America!
If you are visiting during the 4th of July, here are some highlights of the special entertainment planned for that day:
- Epcot® – On July 4, you can enjoy special evening concerts of great American songs by Voices of Liberty at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre. During the day, they can also meet Mickey and the gang in patriotic attire outside The American Adventure, and at 9 p.m. that night “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” joins the celebration with the addition of a heart-pounding, all-American grand finale!
- Magic Kingdom® Park – At 9:15 p.m. on both July 3 and 4, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” rockets into the air above – and all around – the park. Since this special, fireworks spectacular will be presented two nights in a row, you can start the celebration early. Each evening will also see special DJ parties hosted in Frontierland and Tomorrowland, where Guests can get a great view of the fireworks!
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios® – You can spend the Fourth celebrating one of the greatest icons of American popular culture at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.” This one-of-a-kind show blasts off at 10 p.m. with fireworks, lasers, projection effects and more!
Celebrate All-Things ‘Super’ at the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo at Magic Kingdom Park
The new “Incredibles 2” film set domestic box office records in its opening weekend, including – in true superhero style – smashing the record for biggest animated debut of all time!
If you are “Incredibles 2” fans, you have to check out all the fun of the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo at Magic Kingdom® Park. This celebration takes place daily around the Rockettower Plaza area at the center of Tomorrowland, and includes must-snap photo ops, custom décor, “The Incredibles” character appearances, “super”-themed entertainment and more.
First up, Disney fans can’t stop talking about the debut of appearance of Edna Mode, who travels through the Expo riding atop her SuperMobile.
You can also catch a glimpse of members of the Super Super Fan Club who are roaming the Expo dressed in cosplay as their favorite new aspiring heroes: Brick, Reflux, Krushauer, Voyd and Screech.
“Moments in Super History” photo stops abound throughout Tomorrowland. Each one commemorates a unique heroic event in “super” history, such as the Incredibles’ battle with the OmniDroid.
At noon each day, the Jack-Jack Diaper Dash gives young Guests a chance to show off their “super” speed, in a race to crawl to their parental sidekicks. Guests can sign up to participate starting at 10:30 a.m. in front of Rockettower Plaza Stage.
The excitement really kicks into gear during “Super Party Time,” a continuous variety show of entertainment that takes place daily from 2-7 p.m. During “Super Party Time,” a Party Host, DJ and Super Party Sidekicks host fun and games for guests. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone are set to make special appearances, as are two up-and-coming “Supers” – ElectroGirl and Gyroman.
Incredible Tomorrowland Expo is just one of many Incredible Summer offerings bringing fun to the Walt Disney World®Resort this summer.
New Spooky Experiences Coming to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort
The most wonderfall time of the year is just around the corner, and this year you have yet another reason to join the fun during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom®Park!
Taking place select nights Aug. 17–Oct. 31, 2018, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary will add a few new twists and treats to this year’s event.
The Mad Tea Party will take you for a colorful ride as new lighting and effects give a new spin on the night. Depending on the color of your costume, they may also transform under the new dancing lights. How cool is that?
On Pirates of the Caribbean, new pirates invade experience, interacting with sailing Guests who will join the search for “Gunpowder Pete.” Arrrgh!
On Space Mountain, explorers will hurtle through deep space as a new soundtrack and special effects transform the adventure.
Also new this year, Storybook Circus welcomes the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam, a dance party featuring favorite Disney Junior Characters, including Doc McStuffins!
As always, dancing ghosts, the Headless Horseman, plus Mickey, Peter Pan and many more favorite characters return in the themed parade. The skies above come alive with a magical fireworks extravaganza and a spectacle that definitely goes bump in the night. Plus, the spellbinding “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” castle show returns, as the Sanderson Sisters take “stage fright” to another level. And, there are plenty of sweets for all trick-or-treaters, even allergy-friendly options

Turn on the Night at Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Summer at Walt Disney World® Resort is about to heat up in a very cool way. That’s because for 16 glimmering evenings June 21–August 11, 2018, you have the chance to experience Disney H2O Glow Nights––the ultimate glow party––at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park.
You can join “Dinosaur of Ceremonies” Rex and some of his Toy Story pals for this can’t-miss party in the Park, where special lighting and entertainment promise to transform this watery world like never before. From 8 p.m.–11 p.m. each evening, you will practically have the run of the place as they enjoy access to all of the Park’s amazing attractions, Character Greetings with Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie, a DJ dance party on the beach and more.
