Walt Disney World Theme Parks
22nd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival: A Spring Tradition March 4-May 17, 2015
Spring blooms in a big way with bountiful blossoms, colorful Disney topiaries, gardening seminars and flavors of the season during the 22nd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, now through May 17, 2015, at Walt Disney World Resort.
Dozens of Disney character topiaries, from Chip and Dale to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, rule the festival kingdom in the park’s Future World and World Showcase, and popular Outdoor Kitchens are back with refreshing beverages and tantalizing tastes from the garden and grill.
Home and garden seminars, children’s play gardens and other popular festival features fill the 75-day event. At the Festival Center, interactive gardening workshops set the stage for outdoor do-it-yourself inspiration, and guest speakers cover the latest in outdoor trends and home and garden topics.
Guests can try new food and beverage tastes from Outdoor Kitchen menus and pose for selfies among whimsical topiaries, multiple themed gardens and children’s play areas. Disney-crafted “flower towers,” herb gardens and beds of multi-colored blooms add to the floral splendor of the park’s landscape. On the park’s Future World lakes, more than 200 mini-gardens are set afloat.

New Entertainment Throughout World Showcase at Epcot
Epcot guests can enjoy new entertainment acts throughout Epcot World Showcase, including a fresh summery twist on popular American songs by a cappella group Voices of Liberty, who perform twice per week on the American Gardens Theatre stage. There’s also choreographed flag-throwing at the Italy pavilion, acoustic performances by Paul McKenna Band in the United Kingdom pavilion, the Canadian Lumberjacks friendly competition at the Canada pavilion and a Berber music and dance troupe at the Morocco pavilion.
Star Wars Weekends Returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios May 15-June 14, 2015
The Force returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 15, 2015 as Star Wars Weekends combines the fun and adventure of the Star Wars film franchise with the magic of Disney Parks. The 2015 event will feature meet-and-greet opportunities with Star Wars characters throughout the theme park, conversations with Star Wars celebrities, a Star Wars motorcade through the park, interactive activities, exclusive merchandise and more. Star Wars Weekends will be held every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from May 15-June 14:

Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Returns to Epcot June 7-July 25
Summer isn’t summer without great music. As the temperature rises this summer, guests can enjoy sizzling performances from some of the world’s hottest tribute bands when the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series returns to Epcot® at Walt Disney World® Resort June 7-July 25, 2015.

Schussler Creative Opens The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats Located at the Heart of Downtown Disney
Schussler Creative, specialists in the creation and consultation of attractions, restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues worldwide, has opened The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats – located at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Schussler Creative is also the creator of other restaurant/retail attractions at Walt Disney World Resort including Rainforest Cafe (Downtown Disney and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park/created by Schussler Creative; owned and operated by Landry’s); T-REX™ Cafe (Downtown Disney/created and co-owned by Schussler Creative and operated by Landry’s); and Yak & Yeti™ (Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park/created and co-owned by Schussler Creative; operated by Landry’s).
The BOATHOUSE officially opened its doors on April 13, 2015 as one of the new venues in The Landing, the first of four planned neighborhoods as Downtown Disney transitions into Disney Springs, an exciting new waterfront district for shopping, dining and entertainment. Completion of Disney Springs is set for 2016.
The BOATHOUSE is an upscale, waterfront dining experience featuring spectacular floating artwork: dream boats from the 30’s, 40’s & 50’s. The restaurant is 24,000 square feet, with 8,000 feet devoted to the state-of-the-art kitchen where an extensive menu is prepared, showcasing steaks, chops, fresh seafood and a raw bar. The BOATHOUSE will seat up to 600 guests and will serve guests until 2 a.m. The restaurant is designed with spectacular nautically-themed rooms including The Runabout, Twin Transoms, and The Lake House.
There are also two private dining rooms: The Regatta and The Trophy Room for hosting special events, receptions, and corporate presentations. In addition, there are three distinctive bars featuring classic craft cocktails, along with an extensive list of wines, anchored by iconic American vineyards. Bars include: The Captain’s Raw Bar, The Admiral’s Club Bar and The Dock Bar, which is built over the water and attached to over 300 feet of boardwalk and docks, connecting all areas of the restaurant. The BOATHOUSE restaurant will be managed by the award-winning Gibsons Restaurant Group, internationally renowned and celebrated for exceptional food, service and hospitality.
