A new merchandise location, the Marketplace Co-Op, is coming to Downtown Disney Marketplace in spring 2014. The shop will have six boutiques that showcase new and innovative merchandise and will serve as a testing space for new Disney retail concepts, shops and products. When it opens, the Marketplace Co-Op’s six new boutiques will be:

• Beautifully Disney – A beauty destination from women featuring make-up, fragrance and beauty accessories.
• Centerpiece – Home products with a Disney flair that includes room furnishings, textiles and everyday ware.
• Cherry Tree Lane – Accessories for the sophisticated woman with a passion for scarves, shoes, bags and jewelry.
• D-Tech on Demand – A place to personalize and customize electronic accessories.
• The Trophy Room – Vintage-inspired, lifestyle sports apparel and collectibles.
• Zoey and Pickles – A girls’ destination containing the latest trends and glamour for the up-and-coming fashionista.

Part of the multi-year transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, the Co-Op will occupy the space that formerly housed Team Mickey.

I don’t know if it is a coincidence or what, but seems like we are having an eternal winter in the Midwest.  Could it be Elsa?  Could it be trolls?  Could Walt Disney himself be controlling the weather so that it perfectly matches the latest Disney animated hit?  I guess we will never know for sure.  What we do know is that Disney’s FROZEN: Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray and DVD will be the cure for your wintertime blues.  You will love the amazing characters like Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf as well as the incredible music like the smash hit “Let it Go”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman”, “Love is an Open Door”, and my favorite,  “Fixer Upper.”   Watch FROZEN one time, and you will be singing those songs in your car, at the store, and pretty much where ever you go.  No wonder the team of  Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez won an Academy Award this year for Best Achievement in Music for Motion Pictures, Original Song.  Speaking of awards, FROZEN has won multiple awards this year like the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature.  Disney definitely has created a classic that the whole family will enjoy for generations.  Not only is the movie absolutely fantastic (my daughters have seen it and listened to the music more times than I can count!), the Bonus Extras are also entertaining.  Of course I would have loved to have a Director’s Commentary, but “The Making of Frozen“, “D’frosted: Disney’s Journey from Hans Christian Anderson to Frozen“, deleted scenes and music videos were something special.  I also cannot forget the Disney Mickey Mouse short, “Get a Horse.”   After watching Disney’s FROZEN: Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray and DVD, I don’t think I will ever be able to walk out into the snow without asking someone if they want to build a snowman.  I don’t think I will ever build a round-headed, traditional snowman.  Olaf will be my inspiration.  Ice sculptures will take on a whole new meaning.  Even a group of boulders sitting together just might be trolls waiting for perfect moment to show themselves.  Get yourself a copy of FROZEN and you too will experience the magic and wonder of this guaranteed Disney classic.
