This trip we weren’t able to make it early and showed up about noon, but got a huge surprise when the male lion and two lionesses were all perched on top of a rock during Kilimanjaro Safaris.

The demand for this concert event has been overwhelming when it was announced that SARA BAREILLES and REBEL WILSON would headline an all-star cast of performers singing the songs from the Oscar® and Grammy®-winning score as the film plays on the Bowl’s movie screen accompanied by a full, live orchestra. Tickets for both the Friday, June 3rd concert and the Saturday, June 4th concert go on sale at ticketmaster.com at 10:00am Pacific on Saturday, April 9.

Guests can indulge their senses during the new Sense of Africa tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. This 3.5-hour long experience is designed to immerse Walt Disney World® Resort Guests in the richness, culture and history of the African-inspired resort and give a backstage peek at the care, feeding, well-being and social interactions of the resident animals.
The cost is $249, and staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is not required. Experiences may vary.
