‘Great Irish Hooley’ at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant features Irish Bands, Dancers and Craft Beers during Labor Day Weekend

The best of Irish entertainment featuring headliner Screaming Orphans will take over Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Downtown Disney Sept. 4-7 for the 4th annual “Great Irish Hooley.”  The rockin’ long weekend, celebrating the half-way mark to St. Patrick’s Day, also will commemorate the iconic pub’s 10th year at Downtown Disney with performances by seven top Irish bands, authentic step dancing, and first-rate contemporary Irish cuisine by celebrity chef Kevin Dundon. In addition to its featured menu of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, Raglan Road will spotlight four limited-edition craft beers brewed just for the Hooley by Ireland’s Rye River Brewing Company.

Labor Day weekend guests can celebrate Orlando’s only boutique Irish festival with performances beginning at noon Friday through Monday and continuing throughout each day. THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS PRESENTS UPCOMING FILM SLATE AND MORE AT D23 EXPO 2015

The Walt Disney Studios offers an exclusive look at its upcoming projects from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm at D23 EXPO 2015, taking place August 14–16 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The Studio will unveil its animation and live-action film slates via two huge Hall D23 presentations featuring surprise guests and many unforgettable moments. Other not-to-be-missed events include a Frozen FANdemonium musical celebration with Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and the 20th anniversary celebration of Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story with John Lasseter and the original Pixar crew.

PHOTOS: GLIDDEN Paint by PPG to Open ‘Colortopia’ Exhibit in INNOVENTIONS at Epcot

The GLIDDEN® paint brand is rolling out a new colorful world in INNOVENTIONS at Epcot, part of the Walt Disney World Resort. The paint brand known for a rich tradition of innovation and color inspiration has collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineers to create a highly interactive color experience called “Colortopia”. Opening to park visitors in fall 2015, construction is currently underway to bring the Colortopia experience to life for children and adults of all ages.

Marvel’s “Ant-Man” Delivers Strong Results In 3D With 42% Of Estimated $58.040 Million Domestic Weekend

Marvel’s Ant-Man led the box-office this weekend with 42% of the film’s estimated $58 million domestic opening weekend gross coming from all available 3D platforms. In a rare feat, RealD Inc. (NYSE: RLD) announced today that 4 of the top 5 films this weekend were 3D titles.

The strong opening of Marvel’s Ant-Man marks the 6th film in recent weeks to open with more than 40% of its opening weekend gross coming from 3D ticket sales. Recent openings have included Jurassic World (48% 3D), Mad Max Fury Road (41% 3D), San Andreas (44% 3D), Terminator Genisys (47% 3D), and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (42% 3D).

This also marks the 9th time in the last 12 weeks that a 3D title has been #1 in the marketplace.

On Ant-Man, RealD 3D equipped theaters generated an estimated $16 million of which $3.3 million was from RealD 3D equipped PLF auditoriums

“It has been a fantastic summer for the 3D format and for companies like RealD said Anthony Marcoly, president of worldwide cinema for RealD. “The remainder of the year has a very promising slate of programming, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Fall season event titles like Everest, The Walk, Pan and The Martian, among others.”

The world’s most widely used 3D cinema technology, RealD 3D is installed in more than 27,000 auditoriums by approximately 1,200 exhibitors in 72 countries around the world.

ABC Family Stars to Meet Fans at D23 EXPO 2015

Fans can meet their favorite ABC Family stars and collect exclusive pin sets at D23 EXPO 2015, the ultimate Disney fan event, August 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

ABC Family will give away exclusive pin sets each day at the Disney | ABC TV Pavilion booth, from our much anticipated new series “Shadowhunters” on Friday, August 14, from the network’s hit series “Pretty Little Liars” on Saturday, August 15 and from the network’s annual event 25 Days of Christmas on Sunday, August 16.

New Escape to Walt’s Wilderness Now Available at Walt Disney World Resort

The new Escape to Walt’s Wilderness experience gives guests a glance at the natural surroundings that became the perfect setting to accommodate Walt Disney’s grand dreams.

The adventure begins at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Marina where tour guides will greet guests with a warm “Howdy! From there, the group will board pontoon boats for an eco-history tour of Bay Lake. After arriving at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, guests will head to the shore of Marshmallow Marsh for breakfast on the beach. After fueling up, the group will travel by horse-drawn wagon to the Settlement and Pioneer Hall before hiking over the railroad tracks into a clearing in the trees for an archery opportunity. Finally, guests will head to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch horse barn to meet the celebrity horses who live and work at Walt Disney World® Resort.

This 5-hour interactive experience is available twice a week and costs $109 per person, plus tax. Each experience is limited to 20 Guests. Participants must be at least 7 years of age. Transportation to Disney’s Contemporary Resort Marina and from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is available for Disney Resort hotel Guests only.

A photographer will be on hand to capture photos of the group during the experience. Photos are included in the Memory Maker product. If guests have not purchased Memory Maker, they will be able to purchase the photos a la carte. Each Guest will receive a PhotoPass card with a 16-digit claim code, which will include all the photos taken of the entire group during the experience. Photos will be available to view on the Disney PhotoPass website within 24 hours of the event.
