Edna Mode from ‘The Incredibles’ Visiting Disney Parks This Summer

This summer, celebrated designer Edna Mode, from Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and the upcoming “Incredibles 2,” will be traveling to both Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida and Disneyland® Resort in California.

Edna Mode prides herself on crafting super suits that are both functional and fabulous. Your Clients will soon be able to see this true visionary in person!

At Walt Disney World Resort, Edna will be appearing at Magic Kingdom® Park starting Memorial Day weekend. Kicking off the “Incredible Summer” celebration, you can visit the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo to party with characters from “The Incredibles,” including the fashionista herself.

And, just in time for the opening of “Incredibles 2” in theaters on June 15, 2018, Edna will be jetting over to greet Guests at Disney California Adventure® Park at the Disneyland Resort as part of the first-ever Pixar Fest. The iconic super suit designer will continue to favor us with her presence to celebrate the opening of Pixar Pier later this summer.

Opening Season Just Announced for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

While we are still hard at work creating our largest single-themed land expansions ever, we have some exciting news to share today. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in summer 2019 at Disneyland® Resort and in late fall 2019 at Walt Disney World® Resort, when your Clients will land in the middle of the action as they live their own Star Wars stories.

Dates Announced For 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays & Candlelight Processional

Recently, we shared dates for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties at Magic Kingdom® Park. And today, we’re back with another holiday update for  you! We’re happy to share that the 2018 Epcot® International Festival of the Holidays will return to the park Nov. 18-Dec. 30, 2018. The Candlelight Processional also returns this year and for the first time, the popular holiday tradition will open for Thanksgiving on Nov. 22-Dec. 30, 2018.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays invites you to discover holiday cheer throughout the park and across all 11 World Showcase pavilions. Special entertainment, storytellers, seasonal favorites at Holiday Kitchens, and eye-catching holiday decor are all part of the fun. Evenings during this time are topped off with a special holiday presentation of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.”

The Candlelight Processional, a holiday must-do for many Epcot Guests, is a retelling of the traditional Christmas story read by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a massed choir and live orchestra.

Mobile Ordering Service Coming to 15 Locations at Disneyland Resort

As we recently shared, the new mobile ordering service will be available soon to Disneyland® Resort Guests via the Disneyland App.

This convenient, new feature will be available at six Disneyland Park locations – Bengal Barbecue, Galactic Grill, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café and Red Rose Taverne – and nine Disney California Adventure® Park locations – Award Wieners, Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Corn Dog Castle, Flo’s V8 Café, Lucky Fortune Cookery, Pacific Wharf Café, Paradise Garden Grill and Smokejumpers Grill. Order customization will be available directly on the app, including allergy-friendly offerings at select locations.

An African safari will transform you, if you let it. And after I had driven alongside a lion family, after having been surrounded by water buffalo, after having scooted away from an angry mama elephant, I was curious about an ad I saw for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

New After Fireworks Dessert Party Coming to Magic Kingdom Park

Do you love fireworks … and dessert? Due to the popularity of the Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom® Park, there will now be an additional option – the After Fireworks Dessert Party starting on May 28, 2018.

Now you can experience the legendary fireworks over Cinderella Castle from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden, and afterwards, head on over to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and indulge in a delicious array of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts!

On the menu for this sweet experience are treats inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Among the offerings are the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.).

But there’s more than just desserts! Savory snacks include cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, and house-made mini eggrolls. Fresh fruit is also available along with refreshing beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.

In addition, on July 3-4, 2018, and select nights during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can enjoy special themed holiday treats as well as holiday fireworks.

Reservations are now open for the After Fireworks Dessert Party via phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Pricing is $69 for adults and $41 for children. Online reservations will be available starting on May 24, 2018.
