PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ATTRACTION REOPENS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Over the past few months, Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World® Resort has been closed for refurbishment as part of Disney’s tradition in maintaining beloved classic attractions.

In addition to restoration work and new paint inside the attraction, this fan-favorite now features some enhanced special effects, including new cannons with water-based smoke and strobes for weather effects. There are also a handful of new scents to experience at different areas of the attraction.

Even the Audio Animatronics were enhanced during this refurbishment. Each character was rebuilt and fitted with new costumes and now appear even more realistic and authentic, including Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa.
