NIGHT OF JOY AT WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT 2017 DATES ANNOUNCED

he 34th Night of Joy at Walt Disney World Resort just wrapped up and this year’s event brought the best names in Contemporary Christian music to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the first time.

The Complex came alive with music and festivities for this year’s event – with Champion Stadium, the HP Fieldhouse, Jostens Center and The ESPN Grill filled to the brim with music, games, food and fun. Having three venues right near each other, Guests could move between concerts with ease, which made the main Hub of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex a beehive of activity. Giant TV screens broadcast concerts and event outtakes to guests taking advantage of the Complex food trucks and other dining options.

And – if that weren’t enough – we even got to announce the dates for next year’s event – Sept. 8 and 9, 2017 – back again at The Complex. Check out this video for a taste of what you can catch next year – including a little “shout out” from Night of Joy All Stars MercyMe – who will be back again in 2017.

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 25th Anniversary Screening with the Film Society of Lincoln Center

“BEAUTY AND THE BEAST ” returned to Alice Tully Hall this evening, 25 years after it made its much acclaimed debut with a “work in progress’ screening, when Walt Disney Studios and the Film Society of Lincoln Center presented an exclusive screening in celebration of the upcoming “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 25th ANNIVERSARY EDITION” release.

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Bus Transportation Details

There are now dedicated Disney buses to transport Guests throughout Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, including the Treehouse Villas.  Designated buses will transport Guests between eight internal resort stops.

  • Treehouse Villas North
  • Treehouse Villas South
  • Congress Park
  • Springs
  • Grandstand
  • Carousel
  • Paddock
  • Congress Park

In addition to this new service, Guests wishing to go to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park now can take a bus from Congress Park stop directly to the water park.

Guests wishing to go to Disney Springs can walk there from the Congress Park bus stop or take a Sassagoula River Cruise water taxi from the Carriage House boat dock. Bus service to Disney Springs from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will no longer be provided, unless water taxi service has paused due to inclement weather.

When you visit Walt Disney World® Resort, you can now enjoy the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom® Park in a whole new way. Beginning Oct. 10, 2016, the new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package allows you to indulge in lunch at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant before enjoying VIP viewing of this popular parade.

You can take a mid-day break as they enjoy a delicious three-course lunch, including their choice of appetizer, entrée, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage from the standard lunch menu at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, which includes hearty Italian favorites such as spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parmigiana and artisanal pizza.

During the meal, you’ll receive a voucher for your reserved viewing of the popular Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade – a magical mix of floats, costumes, music and Characters that celebrates the spirit of Disney.

SNEAK PEEK OF THE MYSTERIOUS WORLD OF ‘DOCTOR STRANGE’ STARTS OCTOBER 7 AT DISNEY PARKS

Beginning Oct. 7, 2016, Guests visiting Disney Parks will be able to catch a preview of scenes from the new magical, mind-bending adventure “Doctor Strange,” at Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts.

At Disney California Adventure® Park, the preview of “Doctor Strange” will be presented in 3D with special in-theater effects at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land, while Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® will get to see this advance look at clips from the film as part of the One Man’s Dream attraction.

“Doctor Strange,” which opens in theaters in 3D on Nov. 4, 2016, follows the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange who, in his quest for healing after a horrific car accident, discovers powerful magic in a mysterious place known as Kamar-Taj – the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality.
