Disney Cruise Line Wins Highest Honor in Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards

Condé Nast Traveler readers have once again recognized Disney Cruise Line as the “Top Large Cruise Line” in the magazine’s 30th annual Readers’ Choice Awards. The reader survey honors the best travel experiences from around the world. This marks the 15th consecutive year that Condé Nast Traveler readers have recognized Disney Cruise Line in the annual survey.

It’s always such an honor for Disney Cruise Line to be recognized with awards that come directly from travelers themselves, who we know have countless vacation choices. We’re humbled to learn that more than 300,000 readers cast their votes in this year’s survey, submitting millions of reviews.

Disney Vampirina Review

Meet the newest girl on the Disney Junior block in VAMPIRINA,now on DVD.  Vampirina, the vampire girl, is anxious to meet some human friends when she moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. She is nervous about fitting in and “acting human.”  This show is perfect for little ones who want to enjoy the Halloween season just like the big kids.  Vampirina’s spooky friends Gregoria the Gargoyle, Demi the Ghost and Wolfie the werewolf dog make it tricky for her to fit in, but Vampirina’s parents try their best.  I love the theme of not judging others just because they look different or have different backgrounds. Her friends like her even if she can change into a bat.  Vampirina is proud of who she is, and she loves her family even if they look different than the neighbors. The episodes have entertaining songs that will have little ones dancing and singing along.  This Disney Junior show is fun for everyone and will surely be a hit at your house.  Perhaps grown-ups can learn a little from Vampirina and her friends and get along with each other no matter what their differences are.  Fly on out to the store and pick up a copy of Disney’s VAMPIRINA. It is fang-tastic!

NEW ADVENTURE FROM STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI COMING TO STAR TOURS THIS FALL

Earlier this year we told you about a thrilling new adventure coming to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at Disneyland® Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios® that will place you in the middle of an epic battle. The action takes place on the planet of Crait, which we got our first glimpse of in the teaser trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi earlier this year.

First Look at The NBA Experience Coming to Disney Springs in Summer 2019

Walt Disney World Resort unveiled the first look at the new NBA Experience coming to Disney Springs in 2019.

Inspired by the modern architecture of new NBA arenas around the country, the building designs create an unmistakable and entertaining connection to the NBA in a way that only Disney can.

It’s one of several ways Disney Springs is growing and adding new experiences to delight and entertain Guests.

“We are inspired by the design of the new building and the energy that it will bring to the West Side of Disney Springs,” said Senior Vice President of Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Maribeth Bisienere.

The state-of-the-art space will include interactive games and competitions, immersive experiences, a retail store and an adjacent restaurant.

NBA President, Global Partnerships Sal LaRocca, recently commented on the project, sharing, “This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world.”

The NBA Experience at Walt Disney World Resort will be a one-of-a-kind basketball-themed experience featuring hands-on activities that put guests of all ages right in the middle of NBA game action. There will be immersive NBA video productions and numerous interactive experiences and an exciting retail store that will offer something for all NBA fans worldwide.

The NBA Experience at Walt Disney World Resort at Disney Springs opens in summer 2019.
