Minnie Van Service Expands Across Walt Disney World Resort Property

Minnie Van service continues to whisk Guests all over Walt Disney World® Resort property, and beginning Sept. 14, 2018, the popular service is expanding to even more Guests at Bonnet Creek, Flamingo Crossings and Hotel Plaza Boulevard resorts. You can join in on the fun right from the Lyft app on their smartphone to request and pay for their own private Disney ride.

As we recently shared, Minnie Van airport shuttles are also available to you traveling to and from Orlando International Airport MCO, and can be scheduled in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Please note Minnie Van airport shuttles are available only between Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Orlando International Airport.

In the coming days, you will also see new distance-based pricing when they choose Minnie Van service. Pricing will be based on the destination within Walt Disney World® Resort.

PLAY BIG with Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land!

Are you ready to experience Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® in a whole new way? Now’s their chance to come and PLAY BIG before park open – with little to no wait times, character appearances and a delicious breakfast!

With this special event, you will gain exclusive access to the land before the park opens. They can be the first to take a spin through the galaxy on Alien Swirling Saucers or bounce around the backyard on Slinky Dog Dash! Up for an early-morning game? They can also hop on Toy Story Mania! and blast some moving targets at this midway-style 4D shootin’ game.

And, you can fuel up for your rise-and-shine adventures with a tasty buffet, located at ABC Commissary, with their choice of main dish. These tasty main dishes include:

  • Mexican Corn Chilaquiles and Eggs Bowl
  • Shrimp and Southern Grits Bowl
  • Fried Chicken and Cinnamon Sugar French Donut Bowl
  • Smashed Avocado Toast Egg Plate
  • Breakfast Charcuterie Platter

In addition, the buffet includes yogurt, cereal, fruit, assorted pastries, and more! Kids can enjoy everything on the buffet, as well as a kid’s portion of the Fried Chicken and Cinnamon Sugar French Donut or Scrambled Eggs, and both come with Sweet Potato barrels.

Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land takes place on select Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., with breakfast being available until 10 a.m. Admission to this special event is $79 (plus tax) per adult (ages 10 and older) and $69 (plus tax) per child (ages 3 to 9). Regular theme park admission is also required.

New Hyper-Reality Experiences to be Set in Disney Universes; ‘Ralph Breaks VR’ Debuts Fall 2018

This past winter, the groundbreaking hyper-reality experience Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID launched to rave reviews at both Disney Springs® in Florida and Downtown Disney® District in California. Today, we’re thrilled to let you know that another hyper-reality experience from a beloved Disney universe is on its way: a one-of-a-kind, original adventure based on the upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Ralph Breaks the Internet” in theaters Nov. 21, 2018.

Beginning this fall, Ralph Breaks VR will put Guests inside a new multi-sensory Disney adventure where you’ll be immersed in the worlds of the internet and online gaming with Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope. To create Ralph Breaks VR and future hyper-reality experiences that allows Guests to explore amazing worlds and engage with favorite characters, The Walt Disney Company and ILMxLAB(Lucasfilm’s award-winning immersive entertainment division) are again collaborating with the team at The VOID.

Kick off the Holidays with a Sneak Peek from Disney’s ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ Starting October 5 at Disney Parks

Ready to experience a little magic? For a limited time beginning Oct. 5, 2018, Guests visiting Disney Parks will be able to preview 12 minutes from Disney’s dazzling new fantasy adventure “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” in sneak peeks planned for Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts.

At Disney California Adventure® Park, the preview of “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” will be presented in 3D at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land, while Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® will get to see this advance look at a portion of the film as part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction. Each sneak peek will also feature a special on-screen introduction by Mackenzie Foy.

Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” showcases the wondrous journey of Clara, who finds herself in a strange and mysterious parallel world, home to a host of eccentric characters and no shortage of surprises. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip, a gang of mice, and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Philip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm and its ruling tyrant, Mother Ginger, to return harmony to the unstable world.

Let’s boo this! Magic Kingdom Park celebrates fall with the family-friendly Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights Aug. 17-Oct. 31, 2018. Here are 13 fun facts about this year’s event:

  1. 2018 marks 24 fantastically fun years of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with 34 event nights.
  2. NEW! At Pirates of the Caribbean, guests interact with live pirates who encourage everyone to be on the lookout for Gunpowder Pete, a scoundrel with an eye on the same treasure sought by Captain Jack Sparrow.
  3. NEW! The Mad Tea Party will take guests on a colorful teacup ride, as special lighting and other effects put a glowing nighttime spin on the attraction at night.
  4. NEW! Explorers visiting Space Mountain will hurtle through the blackness of deep space to the riffs of a hard-rockin’ soundtrack.
  5. NEW! Storybook Circus welcomes the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam, a dance party featuring favorite Disney Junior characters, including Doc McStuffins and Timon from “The Lion Guard.”

  11. The Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular is narrated by the Ghost Host from The Haunted Mansion and features many favorite Disney Villains who go trick-or-treating in the night sky.
  12. 999 Grim Grinning Ghosts enhance a not-too-spooky Halloween experience at The Haunted Mansion.
