Mobile food and beverage ordering at Disney Parks is a snap, allowing you to plan ahead, save time by not waiting in line, and make the most out of their visit to the Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort.

And now, we’re excited to roll out a new, enhanced look that makes the mobile ordering experience easier than ever. This update—available now in the DisneylandApp for Disneyland Resort and coming soon to the My Disney Experience App for Walt Disney World Resort — features an easier navigation and improved design with fun, colorful icons and even more photos of the menu items. In addition, Guests with certain allergies or dietary restrictions can better discover the options that may meet their needs at participating locations.

With more than 20 participating quick-service restaurants at each destination, you can easily place meal and snack orders from wherever they happen to be in the park. Once they arrive at the restaurant and tap “I’m here,” their order will be ready for pick up at a designated window within minutes – without ever waiting in line to order and pay!

The mobile order feature is just one of the many ways we continue to enhance the Guest experience, including Disney MaxPass at Disneyland Resort, digital room keys at Walt Disney World Resort and so much more.

Starting today, the wildly popular Disney Junior Dance Party! at Disney California Adventure® Park welcomes Vampirina to the stage! This live show features music and characters from beloved Disney Junior TV shows—through high-energy songs, dazzling special effects and beloved characters.

Disney Junior Dance Party! is hosted by Finn Fiesta and DJ Deejay, who encourage Guests to sing and dance to their favorite Disney Junior songs. The interactive atmosphere is perfect for kids to sing, dance and play along with favorite Disney Junior stars like Doc McStuffins, Timon from “The Lion Guard,” Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” and now Vampirina from the hit Disney Junior series, “Vampirina.”

So, obviously you know that we’re being blessed with Toy Story 4this summer.

When it comes to reimagining fictional homes, the design company Modsy truly does it best. Sorry all! In the past, they’ve given us a glimpse of the potential Oval Office of Claire Underwood on House of Cards, but recently they lightened up a bit. They officially recreated the spaces of some of my favorite Disney princesses, and well…they’ve really outdone themselves.

To help bring these princess-inspired designs to life, Alessandra Wood, Design History Ph.D and Modsy’s Director of Style, shared exactly how she and the team brought these modern palaces to life. Here’s what Alessandra had to say about them all:

The all-new Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a unique, one-of-a-kind occasion where you can share special moments with some Disney Princesses while enjoying an exquisite, three-course breakfast at the award-winning Napa Rose restaurant.* The morning also includes enchanting activities, intimate story time, a private portrait location and premium keepsakes.

While visiting the Disneyland Resort, there are many wonderful ways for you to encounter some favorite princesses in the theme parks:**

In 2020, epic adventures at sea return to Disney Cruise Line with limited engagements of two popular experiences – Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea. Setting sail on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic to the Caribbean and Bahamas, these seven and five-night sailings combine the splendor of a Disney Cruise Line vacation with a special day at sea filled with unique character encounters, live shows and action-packed entertainment. 

Star Wars Day at Sea

Your Clients can celebrate the legendary adventures and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga on special seven-night Disney Fantasy sailings from January to March 2020, taking them to the Caribbean and a galaxy far, far away.

In addition to encounters with the galaxy’s most formidable and heroic characters, including Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2, this cruise features a full day of Star Wars activities including live shows, Star Wars-themed family and kids’ activities, unique food and beverage and special merchandise offerings. The day ends with “Summon the Force,” a deck party that celebrates the Star Wars universe and caps off the night with a fireworks show of galactic proportions.  

Star Wars Day at Sea will only be offered on nine Disney Fantasy seven-night Caribbean cruises sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Departing Jan. 11, Jan. 25 and Feb. 22, 2020, the eastern Caribbean itinerary includes Tortola, St. Thomas and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Departing Feb. 8, 2020, the eastern Caribbean itinerary includes Tortola; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Castaway Cay.

Departing Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Feb. 1, Feb. 15 and Feb. 29, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica and Castaway Cay.

Marvel Day at Sea

From January to early March 2020, special five-night Disney Magic sailings will combine the excitement of a Disney cruise to the Caribbean and Bahamas with the thrills of renowned Marvel comics, films and animated series for an action-packed, day-long celebration of the Marvel Universe.

The largest assembly of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains, including the recent addition of Captain Marvel, along with Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man and more, highlight an all-day entertainment lineup that includes live shows for the whole family, an extraordinary deck show, Marvel-themed activities for kids and families, special merchandise and unique food and beverage offerings.

Marvel Day at Sea will only be offered on nine Disney Magic Caribbean and Bahamian cruises sailing from Miami, Florida.

Departing Jan. 9, Jan. 27, Feb. 10, Feb. 24 and March 9, 2020, the Bahamian itinerary includes Key West, Florida; Nassau, Bahamas and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Departing Feb. 1, Feb. 15 and Feb. 29, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary includes George Town, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay.

Departing Jan. 18, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Cozumel, Mexico and Castaway Cay.

As we approach the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland this June, we are starting to get a better picture of what awaits us in the Star Wars-themed land. While most everyone is talking about Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, the interactive motion simulator attraction that will put guests in the cockpit of the fastest hunk-of-junk in the galaxy, details are beginning to emerge about the epic immersive dark ride attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Created especially for the online store, the authentic apparel and gear contains exclusive artwork with intricate details and designs. Guests will find several art styles featuring Mickey Mouse and friends along with icons from Disney Parks such as Sleeping Beauty Castle or Cinderella Castle.

Adding personalization to merchandise with official Disney fonts is easy to do. Once you have found the item they want to personalize, they can check the “Add Personalization” box. A pop-up box will appear where you can add their family’s name. Please note that we can personalize with letters and numbers only, no special characters. Guests arriving or departing from Terminal B at the Orlando International Airport will now find even more Disney magic with the opening of the new Magic of Disney shop. This reimagined merchandise destination is the perfect spot for kicking off a Disney vacation, or for picking up those last-minute souvenirs for friends and family back home.

Designed with an open and contemporary layout, Guests visiting the location will discover the best of what Walt Disney World has to offer. New design elements include spectacular imagery and oversized digital displays that will bring to life the beauty, uniqueness and magic from all four theme parks.

A curated collection of beloved merchandise awaits travelers, from apparel and accessories to home goods and iconic Mouse-eared headwear. The location will also carry “must-have” items that are currently available exclusively in merchandise locations at Walt Disney World® Resort, such as the Potion Purple collection or products from special events like the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival.

The newly transformed Magic of Disney store joins the existing Disney’s EarPort store, which is located in Terminal A. These retail locations, combined with Disney’s Magical Express and the popular Minnie Van Service, which provide direct transportation to our Disney Resort hotels, are great examples of our strong, continued partnership with Orlando International Airport. For years, we’ve worked together to create an unparalleled arrival and departure experience for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and the Orlando area.

Sharp-eyed visitors to Walt Disney World® Resort this week may have spotted something new up in the sky while Disney Skyliner began its initial testing.

Scheduled to open this fall, Disney Skyliner will be a new, state-of-the-art gondola system that will conveniently connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios® and Epcot® to four resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the proposed Disney’s Riviera Resort, which is now accepting Guest reservations for stays beginning Dec. 16, 2019. The official Resort opening date will be announced at a later time.

The Skyliner’s towers have been under construction for about a year, so to have a gondola up on its cables is an exciting milestone! Check out this video to hear more about the project from Jordan Matthews at Walt Disney Imagineering:

Several gondolas will be adorned with graphics based on Disney films, attractions and characters. So for example, Guests may jump into a gondola where from the ground it will look like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto or Chip & Dale are riding along with them Several Disney animated films will be represented, including “Beauty & the Beast,” “Frozen,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Moana,” “Peter Pan,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Zootopia.”
