Today we’re excited to share that the NBA Experience will officially open Aug. 12, 2019! This all-new destination coming toDisney Springs® will invite you to feel what it’s like to be a bas ketball superstar. This one-of-a-kind environment will be packed with 13 interactive elements and hands-on activities across 44,000 square feet and two floors.

In this new video, Walt Disney Imagineer Stan Dodd shares more insight into what you can expect at NBA Experience, plus hear what has NBA players excited for this all-new destination:

And here are some new details about NBA Experience we’re sharing for the first time:

• When yous enter NBA Experience, they’ll feel like they’re walking through the players’ tunnel out onto the court at an NBA or WNBA arena.
• A ticket to NBA Experience grants you access to every activity in any order they choose, and they can return to stations multiple times to try and improve their performance or learn more about the game, the players and the teams they love.
• In an activity that tests shooting skills, spots will light up on the court as you move from one location to another attempting to sink as many shots as possible in 15 seconds.
• In a slam dunk challenge, you can change the height of a standard 10-foot-tall rim to as low as seven feet so they can perform their own superstar moves – captured by burst photography.
• You can see how they stack up to some of the world’s best basketball players by measuring vertical leap, wingspan, and shooting and dribbling skills.
• Various activities can be personalized with your name and associated with their favorite NBA or WNBA teams, and their stats will be tracked just like a real pro game.
• Real-time technology will aggregate stats of NBA and WNBA games and players for continuous updates, while leaderboards will show top NBA Experience performers throughout the day.

Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration, the all-new, must-see experience celebrating 90 years of the beloved Mickey Mouse, is opening April 26, 2019 in the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort! Tickets are on sale now, starting at $30 and includes five hours of complimentary parking.* Please note tickets are non-commissionable.

This limited-time pop-up experience is filled with immersive and imaginatively-themed rooms inspired by all things Mickey Mouse. Each room is filled with selfie-worthy surprises and plenty of fantastic photo ops and memories for you.

In a salute to the classics, Guests are the pop of color in the black and white cartoon world of “Plane Crazy,” where Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse both made their first appearance in 1928.

Almost as iconic as Mickey Mouse are Mickey-shaped balloons at Disneyland Park! In the Mickey at Disneyland room, Guests can pose inside an 8-foot Mickey balloon, surrounded by a backdrop of bright balloon bouquets.

Here’s a secret tip: throughout the entire experience, Guests can see if they can spot more than a dozen hidden Minnies!

After a fun, photo-filled day, Guetss can linger a little longer at the Pop-Up Disney! shop and browse special artist collections, apparel and accessories including spirit jerseys, ball caps, sparkle cinch sacks and an assortment of tumblers, popcorn buckets and more. When Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy speeds into Disney’s Hollywood Studios® on March 31, 2019, the world of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars” will unfold all around you, and the fun and excitement extend beyond the show into the courtyard outside Sunset Showcase, with special entertainment, photo ops, and more.

Piston Cup Champion Cruz Ramirez is stopping by to meet and take photos with all her fans, and DJ, the ultimate party on wheels, has hit the open road and made his way east, bringing his own incredible music mix to liven things up.

Several times daily, things kick into gear for “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” as Lightning McQueen’s Pit Crew arrives on the scene, getting everyone around DJ engaged in entertaining “Cars”-inspired dances and games. It all makes for some high-octane fun, starting March 31 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

The Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and training facilities around the globe to inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become something more. As part of this global initiative, Tony Stark has founded the Worldwide Engineering Brigade — or WEB for short— to develop advancements in super-powered technology, including new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit as their debut project. By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.

As we’ve previously shared,  Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Marvel Portfolio is working closely with our partners across Studios and Entertainment to create exciting experiences and attractions where you can join fan-favorite Super Heroes at Disneyland® Resort.

Today, we’re able to share more details on an immersive, interactive experience coming to Disney California Adventure® Park at Disneyland Resort. It will also be coming to Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris.

The experience will feature an exciting new attraction where Guests of all ages can join the heroes in action. We are expanding our story universe by creating a new organization, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, to be our setting for this experience. Though WEB is grounded in classic characters like Peter Parker, it is an organization that we can all be a part of – one that invites us to engage with these iconic heroes like never before.

Besides introducing WEB, we can’t wait to debut a brand-new, cutting-edge interface as part of this fun, interactive attraction. Through a blend of never-before-seen technology and practical effects, guests will get to experience for themselves what it is like to have the abilities of a Super Hero.

This adventure will blend seamlessly into the story of the new land we’re creating at Disney California Adventure Park, where there will be surprises at every turn! 

We know Guests will be excited to see Spider-Man swinging through these lands in a new suit that they will soon be able to see at Disney California Adventure Park, and at other locations in the future. Recruitment begins soon, so be sure your Clients are ready to assemble and find their power!

Yesterday, Toy Story 4 presented devotees of the series with another glimpse of the magic that the third sequel in the series is looking to offer. And like clockwork, there’s already a huge easter egg that’s been plucked out of that recent round of footage, as you’ll see below. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.
