New Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration Merchandise is Popping Up in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort

Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration opens April 26, 2019, and with it comes some of the cutest must-have merchandise in the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort!

To start, Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration is an all-new, must-see experience celebrating 90 years of the beloved Mickey Mouse.* Each imaginatively themed room is filled with selfie-worthy surprises and plenty of fantastic photo ops and memories for you.

After a fun, photo-filled day, pop by the Pop-Up Disney! you can shop and browse special artist collections, apparel and accessories including spirit jerseys, ball caps, sparkle cinch sacks, tumblers and more**:

  • Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration will offer a variety of logoed items with pops of blue, yellow, silver and glitter. Spirit Jerseys are always a pop-ular choice, along with matching t-shirts for adults and kids.
  • Jerrod Maruyama Artist Collection is playfully inspired by all things Mickey Mouse from the waffle to the classic ear hat.
  • Pin Trading! One pin will be released on the first Thursday of every month, beginning May 2. Collect all six pins to spell M-I-C-K-E-Y!
  • Your Clients can show their day’s admission ticket to Pop-Up Disney! to purchase a special, limited-release pin.
  • Pop-Up Disney! ticket holders may also purchase special treats such as Mickey Mouse-shaped fudge on a stick and metallic Mickey cake pops at Marceline’s Confectionery.***

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $30 and includes five hours of complimentary parking.* The Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration shop will be open to the public. Please note tickets are non-commissionable.

Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration is the latest in a list of exciting developments taking place at the  Downtown Disney District. We have recently welcomed Ballast Point Brewing Company, Salt & Straw scoop shop, the re-designed Wetzel’s Pretzels, Naples Ristorante e Bar, Napolini and the re-imagined World of Disney!  Stay tuned for Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Sugarboo & Co. and Rinse Bath & Body Co. coming soon!

Reservations to Visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park will be Available May 2

As we’ve previously shared, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening on May 31 at Disneyland Park in Southern California, and Aug. 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. If you are planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort between May 31 and June 23, 2019, a reservation and theme park admission are required. There is no additional cost to make a reservation, but reservations are subject to availability. 

Specific details about how to make reservations will be available on Disneyland.com on May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. You must have a Disney Account on Disneyland.com to register for a reservation, so please create one before registration opens at 10 a.m. PT on that day.

Guests who want to ensure a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can confirm a reservation today by booking a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels between May 31 and June 23, 2019 to receive a designated reservation during their stay to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!* 

*Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel between May 31 and June 23, 2019 will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay. One reservation per registered Guest. Each Guest is required to have valid theme park admission. If the hotel reservation is cancelled, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation will be cancelled. Access to certain experiences in the land are subject to capacity and other factors. Additional restrictions apply.

Guests Staying at One of the Three Disneyland Resort Hotels Receive their Reservation to Visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park Today

As we’ve previously shared, if your Clients are planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort between May 31 and June 23, 2019, a reservation and theme park admission are required. Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels from May 31-June 23 will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay (one reservation per registered guest). Valid theme park admission is required. 

Today, your Clients who have already booked a stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels from May 31-June 23 will receive an email with details about their reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This message will be sent to the email address on file for your Client’s reservation.

Details about how your Clients who are not staying in a Disneyland Resort hotel can make a reservation to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are coming soon.

Rooms are still available at the Disneyland Resort hotels from May 31 until June 23, and booking a Disneyland room and ticket package is still the best option for helping your Clients secure access to the new land during this time.
