Mickey’s PhilharMagic’ Now Open at Disney California Adventure Park

The 3D movie musical “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” premieres today in Disney California Adventure® Park! You can now head to Hollywood Land to see the spectacular magic of Disney animation and music jump to life on the screen and walls of the Sunset Showcase Theater.
They’ll enjoy watching Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other favorite Disney characters come to life! As Donald prepares the orchestra for Mickey, he comes across the conductor’s baton and Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat. A little magic goes a long way and proceedings go awry! Donald is unexpectedly plunged into a high-definition 3D dream world and your Clients are taken along for the ride.
You will also get swept into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Peter Pan” and “Aladdin.”
“Mickey’s PhilharMagic” debuts during Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration at the Disneyland Resort! There is still time to join the festivities as we celebrate 90 years of magic with the “Mickey’s Mix Magic” nighttime projection show and “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade,” as well as limited-time décor, specialty foods, merchandise and more!

New Fireworks Show for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

For the first time in 14 years, we’re introducing a brand-new, Halloween fireworks spectacular to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom® Park!
The spooky fun event, that happens on select nights from Aug. 16- Nov. 1, 2019, will feature returning favorites along with all-new experiences, including the debut of an incredible new fireworks spectacular. As you can see above in the very first scene to be released, this new show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks that come together to tell a not-so-scary story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. The show will take guests along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends – Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy – find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. The journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains.
If your Clients are looking for an extra special way to celebrate the brand new show in its first year, our fireworks dessert parties are the perfect option! Your Clients can savor frightfully delightful treats – including chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, ice cream, seasonal fruits, cheeses, sparkling cider, signature lemonades and other ghoulish goodies – and take advantage of dedicated, dazzling views of the new Halloween fireworks spectacular.
And there’s more! Returning to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are the popular live show “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” featuring the Sanderson Sisters and Disney villains the likes of Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent.
Other returning favorites include:
· “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” which happens twice nightly and features favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, along with the Disney villains and a cavalcade of fiendishly fun floats.
· Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam in Fantasyland is the spot for all of the young partygoers to get their groove on with favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina.
· In Frontierland, prospector Cactus-Flower Cate rounds up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” encouraging them to show off their costumes in a quest for the greatest treasure in the land – candy! The “Frontierland Costume Promenade” takes place just prior to each run of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort: What to Know Before You Go

With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening next month at the Disneyland Resort, there is much to do to help prepare for your arrival.
As a reminder, if you are planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort between May 31 and June 23, 2019, a reservation and theme park admission are required. Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels from May 31-June 23 will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay (one reservation per registered guest). Valid theme park admission is required.
For guests who are not staying in one of three Disneyland Resort hotels, specific details about how to make reservations will be available on Disney Travel News and Disneyland.com on May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. You must have a Disney Account on Disneyland.com to register for a reservation, so please encourage them to create one before registration opens at 10 a.m. PT on that day.
Over the next several weeks, Disney Ambassador Justin Rapp will share some helpful hints to help your Clients make the most of their visit. The first video in this series is below, and you may also share it with your Clients via the Disney Professionals Facebook and YouTube channels.
Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel between May 31 and June 23, 2019 will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay. One reservation per registered Guest. Each Guest is required to have valid theme park admission. If the hotel reservation is cancelled, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation will be cancelled. Special After-Hour Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Celebrate Park’s 30th Anniversary, Star Wars May the Fourth

Our countdown has begun! We’re less than one week away from kicking off the first of two exciting celebration nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® followed by even more Disney After Hours dates at the park. And today, we’re sharing more details about each special experience and a new video on what your Clients can expect during a Disney After Hours night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
On May 1 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’re celebrating three decades worth of movie magic and super heroic action with the celebration of the park’s 30th anniversary. At the event, your Clients will be able to meet Disney and Disney•Pixar pals and Star Wars favorites for special photo opportunities. They’ll also experience little to no-wait on park favorites, including The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Toy Story Land attractions and more.
There will also be a special encore performance of “Wonderful World of Animation” taking place exclusively for event attendees. And special 30th anniversary merchandise will be available for purchase on May 1 as well as a slew of special anniversary food & beverage items, including Kylo Ren Cupcakes, Incredibles Macarons, Tres Leches Verrine and many more.
On May 4, Star Wars fans of all ages won’t want to miss this year’s celebration of May the Fourth at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. During the night, your Clients will have the opportunity to encounter Chewbacca with Rey, Kylo Ren with Captain Phasma and more at the park! There will also be themed merchandise and special treats available for purchase.
*Guests should be sure their costume fits within these park guidelines.
Following our special celebration nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are several added Disney After Hours event dates you should know about. If you aren’t familiar with Disney After Hours events, they’re your Clients’ opportunity to experience the magic of a Disney theme park for three hours after regular park hours, with limited attendance, which means little-to-no wait for attractions, experiences and character greetings.
