Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now open at Disneyland® Park. With the ability to join a boarding group when needed, it’s the perfect time for your Clients to visit the remote planet of Batuu. Here’s a day-to-night itinerary to help you plan your Client’s trip. Let’s go!

Plan ahead and reserve a spot

Business has been booming at Oga’s Cantina and Savi’s Workshop, so reservations are required for entry to either experience. Reservations can be made as early as 7 a.m., the morning of your Client’s visit at Disneyland.com/Cantina, Disneyland.com/SavisWorkshop or the Disneyland app (subject to change). Be sure to tell your Clients to check the Disneyland app or signage inside Disneyland Park to see if the digital queue is operating and whether they need to request to join a boarding group to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  

Breakfast bites

Your Client’s first stop in Black Spire Outpost should be Ronto Roasters to fuel up for the day. The large podracing engine hangs overhead, which fires the barbecue pit, while a former smelter droid carefully turns a spit of meats. This marketplace stall offers mouth-watering Ronto Wraps, including the savory Ronto Morning Wrap. It’s a delicious snack with scrambled eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheese, and peppercorn sauce wrapped in pita.

To market, to market

After breakfast, your Clients can stroll the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace to haggle with vendors from across the galaxy. Black Spire Outfitters has all the latest Batuuan styles and the Creature Stall houses some of the galaxy’s most unique (and cuddly) pets. The marketplace is a great place to explore, with something new to see seemingly around every turn.

Tip: Kowakian Monkey-Lizards and Porgs are among the “critters” your Clients will find at the Creature Stall available for purchase.

Take control of the “fastest hunk of junk”

If your Clients have ever wished to step aboard the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy,” now is their chance with Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. They can strap into the Falcon cockpit and take the controls as a pilot, defend as a gunner or maintain the ship’s systems as a flight engineer. It’s up to them and their fellow passengers to smuggle goods while avoiding any unnecessary entanglements.

Tip: The chess-type game played on the table in the Millennium Falcon main hold and lounge is called Dejarik. Your Clients can sit at this table and snap a photo with their crew before taking off!

First Order or Resistance?

Your Clients should be on the lookout for agents of the First Order or heroes of the Resistance. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren lands at Black Spire Outpost and gathers Stormtroopers to help him hunt for Resistance fighter Rey. Your Clients may also encounter Millennium Falcon co-pilot Chewbacca or Resistance spy Vi Moradi.

Astromech adventures

Your Clients can build and customize their own indispensable sidekick at Droid Depot. Guests can step into this immersive workshop stocked with stacks of parts, chips and manuals. They can pick pieces and parts off a conveyor belt to construct one of two core models: BB-series or R-series astromech.

Tip: Droid Depot also offers prebuilt droids, housewares and apparel, all inspired by the design, engineering and building of droids.

Blue or green?

What does Blue Milk taste like? Your Clients can head to the Milk Stand to find out! They can sample Blue or Green Milk, which are delicious frozen blends with dashes of fruity accents.

An all-American red, white and blue fireworks spectacular will bathe the sky this Independence Day at Walt Disney World Resort, joined by live entertainment, scrumptious treats and patriotic pageantry. Here’s what’s in store for Fourth of July 2019:

Magic Kingdom Park – Park Hours: July 3, 8 a.m.-12 a.m.; July 4, 8 a.m.-1 a.m.

• “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” offers booming fireworks orchestrated to patriotic melodies showering the Magic Kingdom sky on both July 3 and July 4 at 9:15 p.m. Guests can also dance the night away with DJs spinning tunes at a Hoedown Throwdown in Frontierland and an out-of-this-world Galactic Gathering in Tomorrowland. Fans at home can join in the Independence Day celebration by viewing a special July 4 live stream of the dazzling fireworks display on the Disney Parks Blog.
• A fuzzy cast of Muppets – Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzie Bear and friends – reenact famous moments in American history in a whimsical way during “The Muppets Present … Great Moments in History.” The live show is performed several times daily near the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square.

Epcot – Park Hours: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

• “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” will end its nearly 20-year run on September 30, 2019. So this will be the last chance to experience the patriotic Fourth of July grand finale of this beloved nighttime spectacular. “The Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks extravaganza will begin immediately following the 9 p.m. “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” display.
• A cappella vocal group Voices of Liberty will perform great American tunes during a Fourth of July concert on the America Gardens Theatre stage at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. on July 4. The group also will perform in the rotunda inside The American Adventure pavilion at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Guests can meet favorite Disney characters donning their “Spirit of ’76” patriotic attire at The American Adventure throughout the day on July 4.
• Guests can indulge in themed eats and sips honoring Independence Day throughout the park – everything from patriotic cupcakes and special dining packages to red, white, and blue sangria and a Boom Berry Lemonade.

The Disneyland Resort is filled with plenty of fun this summer. If your Clients are headed to Disney California Adventurepark, here are 10 not-to-miss experiences!

1. Soarin’ Over California – Due to guest popularity, the epic, aerial adventure Soarin’ Over California has been extended through August 31! This virtual, immersive experience celebrates the beauty and wonder of the Golden State – from San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge to the crashing waves in Malibu.

Bonus: Annual Passholders can enjoy an extra hour at Soarin’ Over California after park closing every Thursday night, beginning June 27 through the end of July. Blockout dates apply.

2. “Tale of The Lion King” – The beloved characters and music of Disney’s “The Lion King” comes to life with an imaginative new adaptation. This outdoor musical production features a cast of 18 performers who weave this timeless tale through language, song and dance. The festive celebration of “Tale of The Lion King” will be presented for a limited time.

3. Fancy Nancy – Nancy Clancy, the high-spirited young girl from Disney Junior’s hit animated series “Fancy Nancy,” made “une grande entrée” this spring. Meet Fancy Nancy just outside the “Disney Junior Dance Party!” in Hollywood Land.

4. Pixar Pier – Celebrating its one-year anniversary at the end of June, Pixar Pier is a whimsical land where Pixar stories and characters are brought to life in incredible, playful ways. A few newly added experiences include:

• Jessie’s Critter Carousel, the giant toy carousel starring Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl and a friendly bunch of desert critters inspired by the “Toy Story” films. Hop on and yell “giddyup!” from the saddle of a whimsical snake, armadillo, turtle, bunny or other critters from the world of Woody’s Roundup.
• Bo Peep, from Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” can be found making special appearances along Pixar Pier. Also, Forky, the adorable disposable spork from the new film, can be spotted near the entrance of the pier.
• Opening later this month, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a newly reimagined attraction inspired by the film “Inside Out.” Step into the workplace of Riley’s Emotions – Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger – and board one of eight Memory Movers for a sense-ational spin.

5. Cars Land – If your Clients are looking for some free-wheeling fun with Disney and Pixar’s “Cars” crew, they can head to Radiator Springs, also known as “the cutest little town in Carburetor County.” Be sure to make a pit stop at Radiator Springs Racers, the high-octane adventure that revs through the beautiful mountains of Ornament Valley.

6. “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” – The spectacular magic of Disney animation comes to life in this 3D movie musical. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other favorite Disney characters now take the stage in this 3D fantasy adventure in the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land.

7. Animation Academy – A guest favorite, Animation Academy hosts drawing classes every 30 minutes. Receive step-by-step instruction on how to illustrate some favorite Disney characters under the guidance of a Disney artist. All ages and experience levels are welcome!

8. Super Heroes – In Hollywood Land, encounter some of the most admired Super Heroes in the universe, including Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Captain America and Black Panther. Suit up and head to Hollywood Land. Afterwards, hop aboard Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!and help rescue Rocket’s fellow Guardians all while jamming out to Star-Lord’s classic mixtapes.

9. “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” – Stay cool indoors and enjoy a theatrical adaptation based on Disney’s animated blockbuster film, “Frozen.” Performed daily at the Hyperion Theater, the impressive stage show immerses Guests in the beloved world of Anna and Elsa, with all of the excitement of live theater. The elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, and show-stopping production numbers are not to be missed.

10. “World of Color” – This breathtaking nighttime extravaganza tells Disney and Pixar stories vividly projected on a screen created by more than 1,200 fountains spraying 19,000 square feet of water. Watch in wonder as water, fire, light and music weave together to celebrate the magic of Disney storytelling.

If you want to visit the happiest or most magical places on earth – Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, respectively – you’ll have to save up for your vacation.

As Disney California Adventure park prepares to welcome Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind to Pixar Pier, we’re excited to share a first look at this family-friendly attraction!

Inspired by the hit Disney and Pixar film “Inside Out,” Emotional Whirlwind opens later this month in the Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood of Pixar Pier. Once your Clients hop aboard one of eight Memory Movers, they’ll take a sense-ational spin and help Riley’s Emotions (aka Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear) sort through memories being collected.

To complement the whimsical atmosphere, Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino created five music tracks, one for each of the emotions. Last year Michael collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering to compose the music for the thrilling Incredicoaster

Pixar Pier celebrates its one-year anniversary this weekend. The reimagined land shares the stories and characters of Pixar films with exciting attractions, themed neighborhoods and fun eateries.

Disney Music Emporium, the online destination for collectible Disney music products, returns to D23 Expo 2019with a pop-up store on the show floor. Over the three-day Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the Emporium will feature album signings by artists and award-winning composers. Limited quantities of a wide assortment of music products will be available, including new releases from Marvel and Lucasfilm, vinyl albums, die-cut picture disc vinyl, cassettes, Crosley turntables, cassette players, posters, and more. Additionally, visitors to Disney Music Emporium will be able to pre-order the Matthew Morrison Disney album.

In addition to the 23 new offerings available at D23 Expo 2019, 10 titles are first-to-market, including Avengers: Endgame (12” picture disc), Aladdin: The Songs (vinyl album), “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” (12” vinyl single from The Lion King), “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite” (12” picture disc),  “Married Life”/”Carl Goes Up” (12” vinyl from Up), The Princess and the Frog: The Songs (12” picture disc), and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (12” single from Fantasia).

Album signings at the Disney Music Emporium shop include Oscar^®– and Grammy^®-winning composer and Disney Legend Randy Newman (Toy Storyfilms, The Princess and the Frog, Cars films); composer Tyler Bates (Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1); actor Anthony Gonzalez (voice of Miguel from Coco); singer-songwriter, actor, and dancer Matthew Morrison (Glee); plus Hollywood Records artist JD McCrary (voice of young Simba in The Lion King). Randy Thornton, Disney Music Group’s Supervising Producer and Music Historian, will present “Great Moments with Walt Disney,” on Friday, August 23, at the Archives Stage from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Grammy-winning producer will present audio recordings of Walt Disney as he recalls developing the first cartoon with synchronized sound, creating Disney’s first hit song, and meeting Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
