Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, the new separate-ticket party in Disney California Adventure® Park, begins Sept. 17 for 20 select nights. You will be treated to an unforgettable night of Halloween fun packed with exclusive new experiences and entertainment, including the new “World of Color” show – “Villainous!” Today, we’re pleased to share some first looks at this nighttime spectacular!

Oogie Boogie (from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”) weaves a Halloween tale about a young girl (and all-new character created by Disney animator Eric Goldberg) named Shelley Marie. 

In “Villainous!,” Shelley has a decision to make about her Halloween costume for this year, and finds herself wondering if she could really be as strong and unique as some of her favorite Disney villains. This twisted tale carries Shelley on an unforgettable journey through devious encounters with The Queen, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Hades, Jafar, Maleficent and more

Enjoy watching the villainous side of Disney characters through fountains, lights, lasers, projections and special effects. “Villainous!” shows you that, deep down, there’s a little villain in all of us.

Oogie Boogie Bash, which takes the place of Mickey’s Halloween Party, will feature other new experiences – including an interactive “Descendants”-inspired dance party, a stage show with Mickey Mouse, and a mysterious Disney villains walk-through experience.  

When you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park this holiday season, you will find festive new entertainment and holiday décor in every land of the park, from DinoLand, U.S.A. to Pandora – The World of Avatar. On Discovery Island at the heart of the park, the magic of the holidays will truly come to life, with incredible experiences both day and night.

It all begins when Guests cross the bridge to Discovery Island, finding themselves in the midst of a celebration of winter, hand-crafted by the eclectic community of artists who make the island their home. The village is filled with sparkling white holiday decorations. Colorful, animal-inspired luminaries line the rooftops, and wireframe lanterns in the shape of beautiful birds can be found perched throughout the area.

A holiday gathering of winter animals – realized in the form of life-size, artisan-sculpted puppets – frolics on Discovery Island during the day. Reindeer, foxes, polar bears, penguins and more interact with Guests, accompanied by serenading musicians as they create a playful atmosphere of festive fun.

As day becomes night, the rooftop luminaries and bird lanterns all around Discovery Island bring a warm and festive glow to the entire village. At the center of everything, the Tree of Life awakens with a series of wintry tales, complemented by a familiar and heartwarming holiday-inspired musical score. Between awakening moments, the Tree of Life continues to shimmer and sparkle throughout the night, alive with the magic of nature and the spirit of the holidays.

Marvel Studios Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD and Movies Anywhere! To celebrate, we have a variety of bonus clips featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, along with the cast & crew! The film arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand beginning August 13th.

One difference between the Disneyland version of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and it’s counterpart in Florida is the inclusion of alcohol in Batuu.

In Disneyland, alcoholic beverages are only sold inside Oga’s Cantina whereas at Walt Disney World it will feature throughout the land.

That’s right! Alcoholic Blue & Green Milk is Coming to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The ingredients seem to be the same for both with an added mix of Bacardi Rum to the Blue Milk and Tequila to the Green Milk.

For the first time ever, three of Disney’s signature streaming services, Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu, will showcase their variety of original and exclusive content through immersive show floor pavilions, live demos, never-before-seen content, and special experiences at D23 Expo 2019 in Anaheim, California. Guests will be the first to experience Disney+ before it launches in the U.S. on November 12. Over the past couple of years, the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland® Resort has undergone an incredible transformation with new additions, refurbishments, and more. With all of these exciting changes, here’s a look at all of the new and existing restaurants you can find throughout the shopping, dining, and entertainment district. With so much to choose from, they’ll never go hungry when spending an afternoon in Anaheim! 

NEW DINING LOCATIONS

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes and CrazyShake Window by Black Tap

Guests can take a bite out of a mouthwatering burger or sip on one of the restaurant’s famous CrazyShake milkshakes at Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes. With an atmosphere that will bring them back to the old-school days of hip-hop and pop, this brand-new bistro offers a savory selection of craft burgers as well as chicken sandwiches, wings, salads, vegan burgers, and veggies. In addition, you can go to town on one of their signature, whimsical, over-the-top milkshakes stacked with cake, cookies, and retro candies rolled in frosting! And for those just interested in the milkshakes, the CrazyShake Window located just outside the main entrance!

Ballast Point Brewing Co.

This new family-friendly brewery and kitchen features craft beer and a full menu of locally-inspired cuisine including Duck Confit Nachos, Baja-style Fish Tacos, and the Smokey Blue Burger featuring an 8 oz. Kobe and Chuck Blend patty with blue cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, pickles, and crispy onions on a brioche bun. You can pair their meal with hand-crafted drafts ranging from crisp and bright lagers to award-winning IPAs. The restaurant is also located on the second floor and features a patio offering amazing views of the Downtown Disney District.

Naples Ristorante e Bar and Napolini Pizzeria

You can celebrate the charm, cuisine, and spirit of southern Italy at these classic Neapolitan eateries. Offering a second floor patio with sweeping views as well as a two-story dining room and an outdoor bar, they’ll feel inspired by the whimsical décor, open-air kitchen, and impressive wine cellar.  Whether you are sitting down for a meal filled with bold and satisfying Italian flavors or eating on-the-go with a make-your-own pizza, these two new restaurants are great options for anyone! 

Salt & Straw

You can discover taste-provoking ice cream at this family-run scoop shop! Here they’ll find handmade ice cream featuring small-batch flavors created with local, organic, and sustainable ingredients. Each month, Guests can also indulge in new limited-time specials showcasing flavors rooted in seasonality. 

Splitsville Luxury Lanes

You can grab a bite and bowling ball at this rock-and-rollin’ restaurant. This eclectic eatery fuses modern and retro elements for a fresh spin on food, music, and entertainment. From burgers and fries to sushi, pizzas, and more, they’ll find a wide variety of delicious items on the menu. The Disneyland® Resort will once again transform into the Merriest Place on Earth as you begin your holidays here, Nov. 8, 2019 through Jan. 6, 2020. This festive season will include many holiday traditions, including cheerful entertainment, yuletide treats, specialty merchandise, sparkling décor and seasonal transformations of select attractions!

At Disney California Adventure® Park, “World of Color – Season of Light” will dazzle with its holiday-themed spectacular of lights, lasers, water, fire and hundreds of fountains bringing animation to life. Festival of Holidays returns, bringing the spirit of the season to life through the sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas/Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day (Jan. 3-6). For the residents of Cars Land, two attractions rely on holiday magic to transform into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

At Disneyland® Park, holiday magic shines brightly with the glistening Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. Returning entertainment includes “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular and “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. In addition, one-of-a-kind seasonal transformations will once again take over “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday.
