My Year as an Out of State Passholder by Heather Holley

I live in Tennessee and just wrapped up my year as an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World. I grew accustomed to hearing, “You doing to Disney again?!” And the odd look that came with it when I explained we owned an Annual Pass.

Disney is a little over eight hours away from us, so I understand the weird looks I received. Distance aside (and that isn’t even a big deal to me), being a Passholder was amazing. The main motive behind buying Annual Passes for us was money. My husband did the math and it worked out to be cheaper for us to buy an Annual Pass instead of daily tickets. We knew we wanted to make three trips this year and as long as we made two of them we saved money. But we also saved money in other ways as Passholders.

We received a nice discount on merchandise, select restaurants, special events and free parking. Yes, discounts at Disney. It’s an amazing thing! Saving money isn’t what made this year magi¬cal though. 2014 was a great year to be a Passholder. I witnessed so many changes in the parks and every trip was different. I was sent a Magic Band in the early stages of the program; I was able to see some attractions in their final days, as well as the opening of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Yes I went to Disney 4 times within a year, but I was never board. The best part of being an out of state Passholder for me was knowing I would be back soon. For an entire year I didn’t have to feel the post Disney depression. Yes, I always hated to leave, but it was not the full on despair I typically experience. Having an Annual Pass made it feel like 600 miles wasn’t that far away. This year was a whirlwind of packing, driving, and fun. It was magical and I will always cherish this experience. Maybe one day we’ll be fortunate enough to be Passholders again, but if we aren’t, I know I’ll be back some¬day and that helps with the cur¬rent post Disney Passholder depression. Are you an out of state Passholder?

Would you ever do it? I’d love to talk to you about your experiences/opinions! Chat with me @hoodie_life on Twitter.

Food & Wine Round 2 by Morgan Turner

Our first day of Food and Wine had been amazing and the next day we were exploring a new park…
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. My parents have only been once and it was so long ago, it was basically like taking them for the first time all over again. We were lucky because the weather was nice and it was on the cooler side so when we arrived we didn’t get out of the car and start pouring sweat. I have to give a shout out to our lovely shuttle driver, he was hi¬larious. Obviously it was a good sign that the day was going to be awesome.

Once we arrived we had an early morning fast pass for the Festival of the Lion King. It was all our first times seeing in the new theater! Now this is where I begin to fail at my Disney Life because for the life of me I couldn’t tell what all was differ¬ent in the theater from the old location, but that could’ve been due to the fact that the show was so amazing! If you haven’t seen the Festival of the Lion King you need to see it. It is amazing. My family are huge fans of the film and the Broadway show, so this was perfect for us. We really enjoyed ourselves and had we been able we would’ve gone to see it again, but we were a little busy throughout the rest of our trip. Though we had lunch reservations at Yak and Yeti later in the day, we were starving so we headed to the Flame Tree Bar-B-Que. It was my parents first time getting to try it as well. They LOVED it. It’s one of my favorite places to in at Walt Disney World, and even better one meal will feed three people.

We had the rib and chicken combo, added in a fruit plate to keep it healthy, and a side of fries be¬cause fries are glorious. We even made a friend with a nice little bird that hovered around our table while we were eating. I named him Roland, but because we like to follow the rules we did not feed him anything…and thus I don’t think Roland liked us very much haha. After our pre-lunch stop it was off to the Safari. Now I’ve been on the Safari multiple times, its one of my favorites but for my parents it was their first time. It was literally the BEST experience. Most of the time my safari guides have been a lot of fun and very informational about the animals—you know fun-ducational. But this time our guide was just flat out hilarious. Don’t get me wrong we learned a lot, but we met his friend the bush Keisha and learned that he is not a fan of birds at all. We laughed the whole time.

I did have a fastpass for Expedition Everest booked, but as none of us like roller coasters we headed to lunch at Yak and Yeti instead. If you haven’t been its Asian inspired cuisine and the interior has a ton of really cool artifacts that you are welcome to look at, touch and take pictures of. Our meal was absolutely spectacular. I had the sweet and sour chicken and it was amazing!!!! My dad got the kobe beef burger and my mom got the fried rice. Truth be told we were all still full from the Flaming Tree Bar-B-Que we’d had earlier, but I took one for the team…and stuffed my face anyways.

We opted to take the long way around the park so my parents could get a view of what there was to offer. We decided next time we would definitely be trying out the Dino¬saur ride- I personally love it but they’ve never been on it. After a fun day wandering the kingdom of animals we headed home. The next day we were headed back to Epcot to complete round two of Food and Wine Festival and try out a few new places to eat.

Wait til you hear about what we did the next day, until then… have a Disney magical Day

Must See Shows at the Magic Kingdom by Emma Smith

Although Magic Kingdom is known for its many kid-friendly attractions and Cin¬derella Castle, one of my fa¬vorite parts of the park is all of the “shows” going on around the park at various times every day. It seems like there’s always something exciting happening at every turn- clowns performing in Storybook Circus, a trolley com¬ing down Main Street, USA, or royal aristocrats coaching little lords and ladies the finer points of etiquette in New Fantasyland. However, every time my family makes a trip to the Magic King¬dom, we make it a point to see a few of our favorite experienc¬es while we’re there. Here are some of my personal favorites:

The Dapper Dans – Main Street, USA.

During our past visit to WDW, I discovered how much I actu¬ally love the Dapper Dans. This old-fashioned barbershop quar¬tet is charming, talented, funny, and generous, always willing to stand for a picture or chat af¬ter they are done with their set. Wherever they sing, they’re sure to draw a small crowd, but it al¬ways amazes me that so many people simply walk by without a glance. Next time you find yourself on Main Street, USA, do yourself a favor and stop to listen to these amazing sing¬ers. Each set is slightly different from the last, so you can even come back and listen multiple times in a day. Whether you’re old or young, a Disney fanatic or Disney newbie, you’re sure to be entertained with the Dapper Dans’ songs, jokes, and chimes.

Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pi¬rate Tutorial – Adventureland

Who doesn’t love Captain Jack Sparrow? In this interactive tu¬torial, a few select kiddos can learn how to swish, stab, and distract their way through a swordfight with Jack’s trusty companion, Mac. Jack Sparrow himself even makes an appear¬ance, and once the training is over, you can pledge your alle-giance to the Captain and join him in singing the song, “Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me.” This show occurs several times throughout the day, but you can usually find the showtimes in the Magic Kingdom Times Guide. We usually stop to watch Jack a few times each trip, and even though the jokes and script can get a little repetitive after you’ve seen it several times, the un¬predictable actions of the kids chosen from the crowd makes each show a new experience.

Flag Retreat Ceremony – Main Street, USA, Town Square

The Flag Retreat Ceremony oc¬curs every day at 5:00 p.m. in Town Square, right around the flagpole. For each ceremony, a park-going Veteran is selected to help lower the flag and fold it. Joining the ceremony is the Main Street Philharmonic, WDW Security, the Dapper Dans, and a special Guest selected to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Patri¬otic songs like “The Star Span¬gled Banner” and “God Bless America” are played as the flag is lowered and folded. It can be an emotional experience, and some people are moved to tears. We saw the ceremony for the first time this past summer and were extremely glad we had caught it, as it has now become a trip staple. Not very many people know about this Magic Kingdom tradition, but it is defi¬nitely something worth seeing.

What I’m Thankful For – Disney Edition by Scott Donahue

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I wanted to focus on something beyond what we all are most thankful for, such as a healthy and safe family, a good job, etc…

I wanted to make my column about things that I am thankful for, Disney style. Disney has created so many wonderful memories for my family I thought it would be fun to create a list. After reading my list I would like to hear your thoughts via Twitter.

I am thankful for….

  • Walt Disney having the vision to create a place where families could have fun together in a safe environment
  • The Walt Disney Co. continuously expanding and improving their parks, resorts, and service
Being able to travel to Walt Disney World several times a year to get a different experience each time
  • Having a wife and kids who love Disney as much as I do
  • Minnie Mouse opening up her arms to greet my youngest daughter on a pathway at Animal Kingdom and giving her a HUGE hug, which is something she still remembers to this day
  • The look of amazement the first time my daughters stepped foot into Magic Kingdom
  • The look of joy the first time my daughters meet a Princess
  • The look of bewilderment on my face when Belle picked me to play Beast at “Storytime with Belle”
  • The ability to have two sets of grandparents who “get” what Disney is about and love to vacation with us
  • Being able to help others maximize their time during their Walt Disney World vacations
  • Being able to see my daughters reaction when she finally reached the magical 48” height mark
Blizzard Beach’s Summit Plummet helping me overcome my fear of heights
  • Disney Vacation Club allowing our family to have accommodations that we otherwise might not be able to afford
  • The smell of the Pop Century lobby after a 20 hour drive
  • Entering my resort room, turning on the TV, and hearing the sounds of Walt Disney World Today Channel
  • The time we were able to experience riding in the front of the monorail
  • My youngest daughter, who has Polycystic Kidney Disease, to be healthy enough to ride most attractions that she wants to
  • Being able to “scream like a little girl” on Expedition Everest and fitting right in with everyone else
  • Not looking like a fool wearing a crazy Disney hat around the parks
  • Having a place where I can make a wish and truly believe it will come true
Imagineers always wanting to “plus” an attraction
  • Being fortunate enough to start planning another Disney trip

Changing for the Better? “What do you think?” Edition by Laura Weyand

My social media newsfeed has been buzzing with Walt Disney World news lately. Some of the changes that the park is taking action on are starting quite a feud while others seem to be making frequent guests quite happy. I’m going to write some questions for you guys throughout my article and would love to hear some opinions to my twitter @LauraWeyand.

Maelstrom is the beloved Disney attraction that is home to Norway in the World Show Case at EPCOT. Walt Disney World has decided upon removing the attraction and replacing it with a “Frozen” themed attraction. Most guests were outraged with the news some saying “Enough with “Frozen”! Many agreed that the attraction was in need of an update and was truly showing its age. That was nothing a little pixie dust couldn’t fix. What do you think could have made this old attraction new again? Promotional wise I unfortunately do agree with the move that Disney has made.

Rumor has it that Anna and Elsa will replace the fairy godmother and the Cinderella Crew for the lighting of the castle during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. My first time visiting the park at this time of year was last year and seeing this moment was absolutely magical. I understand the concept that they are trying to get at with Elsa being the “Snow Queen” and using her magical powers to make the castle look like ice. Do you think they should keep Cinderella or do you agree with the rumor of Anna and Elsa?

Recent news on the removal of Mickey’s sorcerer’s hat at Hollywood Studios has struck my social media accounts. The Walt Disney World Company has confirmed this and I’m seeing a lot of positive feedback. Added in 2001, the new Hollywood icon blocked the view of the theatre entrance to ‘’The Great Movie Ride”. Many are happy to hear the original view will be restored but do you think that they some expansion ideas in mind?

Tweet me @LauraWeyand I really would love to hear your opinions with all of the news that Disney World has recently released. Good, bad, do you not care?

Have a magical day!
Laura Weyand 

Annual Disney Parks Moms Panel Search is Underway by Kate Melody

Autumn has fallen upon us in Indiana. In our home that means field trips to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard, fall parties, cooler jogging weather, Notre Dame Football, and a seasonal craziness that overtakes mom (me) known as the Disney Parks Moms Panel Search. Both exciting and anxiety producing, the results of the process can either mean a coveted spot on the panel of pixie dusted planners, or an evening of crying into your homemade faux Dole Whip.

Since 2007, each fall the several month process begins to choose 10-20 new panelists from among thousands of hopeful applicants. Those that are chosen for the coveted spots will spend time each week answering trip planning questions from guests around the world! You can visit the panel at http://disneyparksmomspanel.disney.go.com/. While the majority of the panelists answer inquiries about Walt Disney World, there are also panelists who specialize in Disneyland, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, Disney’s Wide World of Sports, and runDisney events. Questions can also be asked and answered in Spanish, and it is hoped that more languages will be added in the future. And while the name suggests a group of ladies, the “Moms” part of the title is more for fun and tradition. Moms, dads, grandparents and even kid-less Disney experts are welcome to be on the panel!

The process begins in early September with the Round 1 application opening on a set day and time. Any guest who has visited within the previous 12 months, and meets the eligibility requirements (no Disney employees or travel agents or their families, etc…) may apply. This year the process opened on the Tuesday after Labor Day, and interested guests had until noon on Friday of that same week to submit their application. Round 1 usually consists of some general background questions, followed by secondary essay questions based upon the specialty that you choose to apply for. While no one knows for sure exactly what the selection committee is looking for, it is generally accepted that applicants should have excellent writing skills, a good basis of Disney planning knowledge, research ability, and should be able to show these with some fun and creativity! For example, the one question that all Round 1 applicants had to answer this year, in 100 words or less, was, “How many frozen fractals did Elsa have all around?” While there is no incorrect answer to the question, the idea was to do a little creative writing, and show a bit of your “Disney Side” to the selection committee.

To make the process even more fun, Managing Editor for Disney Social Media, Gary Buchanan heads up the application processes and is the liaison between the applying guests and the selection committee. This year he has been exceptionally engaging with rhyming riddles, haiku’s and photoshopped clues to keep us guessing! Even if you did not apply, but would like to check in on the fun, follow #DisneyMP on twitter for a view of the “wildest ride in the wilderness (or in social media as the case may be)!”

After 6 long weeks, applicants were notified via email if they would be moving onto the second stage of the process. Known as R2 (Round 2), even advancing to this second stage is a huge accomplishment. While Disney likes to keep a little fun and mystery in the process, and actual numbers are not known, it is estimated this year that 400-500 applicants are in this round. R2 again had a set number of days to submit your application. It consisted of several more essays, and everyone’s favorite part of the application, the video. Similar to previous years, you had a single question to answer, via a video, within a set time limit. While in the past it has always been 60 seconds, to add a little fun and Disney World flair, this year we had 71 seconds. Having done two 60 second videos in the past, having those extra 11 seconds was a treat!

In previous years, third round has been phone interviews, and the final panel has been selected at that point. This year however, we have been promised an additional 4th round, so the next step is a bit of a mystery to this year’s hopefuls. The final panel will be notified no later than November 22nd, so the next two rounds will likely happen very quickly. What will that mystery extra round entail? Skype interview? Trivia round? Online scavenger hunt? With Gary Buchanan’s penchant for fun and creativity, it could be anything!

Congrats to all our readers and writing staff who have moved on to R2. And for those that are lucky enough to make the cut to R3, good luck! Remember to have fun and put your best (giant yellow) foot forward! Above all, as Gary says, HAVE FUN!

Around the World of Disney in 4 days by Morgan Turner

Over the years my parents and I have taken many trips to Walt Disney World. Our trips usually consisted of watching the parade, shopping, and me refusing to talk to any of the characters, but being so excited to see Cinderella Castle that it didn’t matter. This is my really nice way of saying, we didn’t do a lot in the parks but by jingo I was happy as a clam and to them it was worth it. Now I live and work at Walt Disney World I got to treat my parents to a Disney trip and let me tell you it was a whirl wind adventure!! It is our first year being the parks for the Food and Wine festival so we decided eating around the world was a must do! I was lucky because right before my parents arrived I was able to book fastpasses and we wanted to try out a few rides while we were in Epcot so with everything all set up we were ready to go!

We were up early on Friday morning and headed into Epcot. Our first stop was Spaceship Earth. I took my dad the last time he visited and he insited that we take my mom on it too. They loved the attraction and their video into the future was one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever seen. We then headed off to hang out with Nemo and his friends and then visited with Figment. All of these rides were new to my parents and they had a nice time getting to try them out for the first time. We started getting hungry so we made a pit stop to get cronuts. We made the mistake of getting 2 of them, we could’ve easily shared 1 of them between the three of us, but we survived. Before we headed to ride Soarin’ we visited Living with the Land. My parents both LOVED it! Even I learned something new riding it this time around and we got to sit down for a little bit which was an added bonus! Then it was off to Soarin’! My parents loved it and were sad it was over. I personally was shocked they even rode it with me but I was so happy they had fun!

Finally…it was time for the main event—THE FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL!!! We had intended to eat the whole way round the world that day, little did we know that our plans would change halfway through the day. I had already gotten their passports and maps so we were fairly ready going into the World Showcase. We started at Hawaii with the pork sliders, and then made our way to Patagonia for a beef empanada, and then mexico for ribeye tacos and sweet corn cheesecake. At this point I was starting to get a little bit full so we took a break and went to visit the three caballeros and take a little trip around Mexico. It was fun to take my parents on that ride, since they didn’t even know it was there; and we had the song stuck in our heads for the whole rest of the day. We kept making our way around, stopping to try food at farm fresh, Singapore, china, and Africa. It was at this point that we realized…we were not going to make it around the whole world that day. Since we were coming back again on Sunday we decided to call at the halfway mark and very slowly made our back to the front to go home.

Round one was a great success and we had a blast. I’ll tell you all about round 2 next time, but before you go here’s a little bit of what we got to try while we were on our trip 😀

All Star Resort Gets All Stars With Me by David Dunkle

It has been years since I have stayed at one of the All Star Resorts. The first time I did I recall it was a family vacation and there were four adults staying in a standard hotel room. Aside from it being a little cramped, the room suited us well and we spent little time in it aside from showering and sleeping.

On my most recent trip, I spent a considerable amount of time in my All Star Movies Resort room due to weather. Granted, I was traveling alone and had plenty of room to spread out, but the room was comfortable, had all I needed and best of all, DirecTV and Wi-Fi.

I have not stayed at a Disney property resort in a few years and both of these amenities were welcomed and very much appreciated. The typical fall season weather was at its characteristic best this week with warm temperatures, lots of humidity and of course, rain, rain and more rain.

Some love to don the obligatory, clear vinyl poncho emblazoned with Mickey or another bright color from a competitor and head into the parks. The rain will lessen crowds and shorten lines if you don’t mind a puddle or two but for me, I like to hang out at the resort and just relax.

Although the All Stars are considered “value” resorts, there are some great benefits to staying at one of the three themed hotels. Obviously price is a big factor for families staying here but there are several other great features, too.

These hotels are at the edge of Disney property. If you have a car with you, this makes off property shopping and dining a breeze. Exit the resort, and take the Osceola parkway towards Disney’s Animal Kingdom and then a right on Sherberth Road and that will take you right out to 192/530. There are restaurants galore, shopping, grocery stores and those oh so popular tacky souvenir shops! Also, just a short drive away is the community of Celebration. I make this a stop on every trip and if you recall from a previous article, the Celebration Town Tavern is a wonderful place to enjoy lunch or dinner.

Another great thing about the All Star resorts is the heavy outdoor theming. Kids love the oversized tributes to each building’s theme and each have a courtyard with added touches to explore. I happened to stay at the Herbie the Love Bug building so in addition to a replica of Herbie in the Winner’s Circle, there were larger than life halves of Herbie, elevated and extending from the buildings opposite one another. Hints of tools and car parts were impressed in the pavement surrounding the central area.

Food options are many. The food courts offer full meals, light snacks, sandwiches, daily specials and something for everyone’s taste from differently themed stations. There is a full line of carry out items and staples to take back to your room in both the food court and gift shop areas. In room pizza delivery is available until 1AM.

During the day, there are poolside activities (as all Disney hotels offer) for anyone interested in participating, no matter what age. Also poolside there is a bar area for the big kids to relax and medicate/meditate with their favorite beverages.

So if your family is looking for a budget option without forgoing the signature Disney magic by staying off property, the All Star Resorts are more than adequate. Keep in mind, the rooms are slightly smaller, there is no in room coffee maker and some of the amenities and theming are not as elaborate but it’s clean, comfortable and a super deal all year around.

Top Five Disney Must-Do Foods by Emma Smith

I love Disney for a lot of reasons- the magic, the experiences, the stories, and so much more- but I have to admit that one of things that I look forward to the most when visiting Walt Disney World is the food. Disney is known for its food; from world-class cuisine to the average corn dog, Disney has it covered. Every Disney visitor has their favorite Disney foods that just don’t taste quite the same when bought somewhere else, so I thought I would share with you my top five staple Disney cuisine from Walt Disney World.

• Norwegian School Bread- You can find this sweet treat at the Norway pavilion in Epcot. To me, a Disney trip just isn’t complete without tasting school bread! School bread consists of sweet cardamom bread filled with vanilla custard and topped with a sugar icing and coconut flakes. It’s definitely one of my favorite foods on property. Once, I even tried to recreate the recipe at home, but it just didn’t turn out the same. Hats off to Norway for creating such a delicious dessert!

• Pizzafari Pepperoni Pizza- There are many places to get pizza in Disney world- Via Napoli in Italy, Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney, flatbread pizza from California Grill at the Contemporary Resort- but my favorite place is Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom. I love how the crust is always just puffy enough, there’s not too much cheese, and the top is baked to a crispy perfection. You can find the same kind of pizza at Pizza Planet in Hollywood Studios as well, but we always make a point to eat at Pizzafari. If you haven’t tried this particular meal, I definitely suggest it!

• Carved Turkey Sandwich at Be Our Guest- Be Our Guest is quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots at Walt Disney World (we have yet to dine there for dinner!), and their carved turkey sandwich could actually be considered heaven on a baguette. The warm, thick-sliced turkey tastes like a home-cooked Thanksgiving bird, and the pommes frites (french fries) served with the sandwich are fried to a crispy perfection. If you want to try this amazing sandwich, be sure to try to snatch a Be Our Guest lunch Fastpass+ online at beourguestlunch.disney.go.com so you are sure to get a spot at Be Our Guest.

• L’Artisan Des Glaces Ice Cream- If you haven’t tried L’Artisan Des Glaces, found at the France pavilion in Epcot, you haven’t lived. All 16 flavors are hand-crafted to creamy perfection. My personal favorite is the coffee ice cream, which tastes exactly like a cup of iced coffee, but they also offer other unusual flavors like Caramel Fleur de Sel and Hazelnut. Along with the choice of flavor, you can also choose if you want your ice cream in a cone, a cup, in a macaron ice cream sandwich, or in warm brioche with chocolate or raspberry sauce. As the French would say, une glace est très bonne!

• Ham & Swiss Sandwich at Earl of Sandwich- Earl of Sandwich has been a long-time favorite food spot at Disney, and we always eat there at least one time every trip. My preferred sandwich there is the ham & swiss, but I usually order it without the cheese since I’m not a huge fan of melted cheese. The bread is probably my favorite part of the sandwich- it’s unlike any bread I’ve ever tasted and always toasted perfectly. The sandwich also has honey mustard on it, which is delicious. I’m always regretful when it comes down to the last bite; I could probably eat Earl of Sandwich every day and never get sick of it!

Keep Moving Forward! by Jenn Romano

Over the weekend, we were doing a little cleaning, and I came across the movie, Meet the Robinsons. If you have never seen this Disney animated feature, you are really missing out on a treat. This movie tells the story of a young boy, Lewis, who is an orphan. He doesn’t really fit in well because he is an inventor, and he is a child who marches to the beat of his own drum. He becomes obsessed with trying to create a way to look back at his memories, the Memory Scanner, so that he could see his mother when she left him at the orphanage. Lewis has many trials and troubles throughout the movie, and he ultimately fails in his invention of the Memory Scanner due to the meddling of the movie’s villain, the Bowler Hat Man. Eventually, Lewis goes back in time as a result of another young boy, Wilbur, who comes to visit Lewis. We come to find out that this young boy is from the future, and he needs Lewis’ help to fix some problems that have occurred as a result of Wilbur’s carelessness. Now, I won’t tell you everything that happens because I want you to go and watch this movie. However, you can imagine that many misadventures occur, and there are a lot of laughs to be had.

This movie is important to me because Lewis’ story really reminds me of Walt Disney himself. Lewis’ motto is to “keep moving forward.” This quotation is actually from a longer quote by Walt Disney:
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

Lewis is curious, and he is not afraid of failure once he learns that failures teach much more than successes. This movie has a wonderful message that not everyone can win. Sometimes you will fail, but it is how you pick yourself up from a failure that defines the kind of person you are and the kind of future success you will have. I think that the motto of “keep moving forward” is so important in the world today. Sometimes, days will be difficult, and sometimes you may want to give up, but if you keep moving forward, perhaps you will learn something that you didn’t know before. Maybe your struggles will help lead you to new discoveries that otherwise you would not have had.

Overall, Meet the Robinsons is a fun movie, but it teaches lessons that Walt Disney embodied in his life. He did not take “no” for an answer. He did not let obstacles stand in his way; he worked hard and did things that people thought were impossible. His story is inspirational, so here are a few of Walt’s wise words to help you navigate the troubles that might arise in your day.

“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”

“Why worry? If you’ve done the very best you can, worrying won’t make it any better.”

“All of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”

“All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”

“When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.”

“A person should set his goals as early as he can and devote all his energy and talent to getting there. With enough effort, he may achieve it. Or he may find something that is even more rewarding. But in the end, no matter what the outcome, he will know he has been alive.”

Until next time, have a magical day and keep moving forward!
