UGG Unveils New Flagship Store at Disney Springs
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its first retail store in SoHo, Manhattan, UGG® (a division of Deckers Brands) (NYSE: DECK) opened its new flagship store today in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The new location features a unique retail design that celebrates the brand’s heritage while revealing its vision for the future. This will be followed by additional flagship doors opening in Shanghai, Tokyo and New York City later this year.
UGG® at Disney Springs opens on the heels of the brand announcing its first global women’s brand ambassador, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who will be the face of be the biggest re-launch the brand has seen in 37 years. With these exciting developments, UGG® further cements its place as a global lifestyle brand.
“Our new retail environment is the pinnacle UGG brand experience. It honors our history, celebrates the present and offers a glimpse into our exciting future,” says Stefano Caroti, President of Omni-Channel, Deckers Brands. “As a physical expression of the UGG life, visitors are transported directly into the comfort of the casual California lifestyle, the home of UGG.”
The 2,828-square-foot retail space is located in Disney Springs’ new Town Center neighborhood, which features Spanish “Revival” style architecture inspired by the rich history of explorers who landed in Florida centuries ago. UGG® at Disney Springs showcases the brand’s Southern California roots via natural warmth and sumptuous comfort. The store, designed in partnership with Checkland Kindleysides of the UK, comes to life through a soft-focus color palette to create a highly compelling and emotive premium brand experience.
“Our new store concept is more than a place where boots are sold. It’s an environment where the brand lives,” said Anders Bergstrom, Director of Insights and Design Strategy. “Our intention is to give every guest who visits our store the opportunity to experience the complete UGG lifestyle firsthand.”
The new retail space will have dedicated areas for men’s, women’s, kid’s and lifestyle including loungewear, handbags, accessories and home goods. To celebrate the grand opening of the new Disney Springs location, a limited-edition UGG® Classic Short Boot will feature Swarovski elements inspired by some of Disney’s most beloved characters – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Tinkerbell. Disney Springs Opens First Phase of Town Center
Eager with anticipation, guests flocked to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort this morning with the hopes of being among the first to experience its newest retail neighborhood – Town Center.
Opening in phases today and throughout the summer, Town Center will be home to some of the most recognizable names in retail such as Anthropologie, ZARA, LACOSTE and Lucky Brand, as well as some brands that are new to the Central Florida market, such as UNIQLO, Melissa Shoes and UNOde50. Within Town Center, Guests will find exceptional shopping and dining experiences along with breathtaking vistas overlooking The Spring, the heart and soul of the property.
Town Center features Spanish-revival style architecture, drawing from a rich history of explorers that landed in Florida centuries ago, and a promenade where guests can relax, refresh and reconnect with each other. Town Center, like the rest of Disney Springs, is brought to life with the same focus on storytelling and attention to detail that goes into Disney’s theme parks, resorts and cruise ships – resulting in a welcoming space that only Disney could create.

As guests enter Town Center around The Spring area, they will be warmly greeted at the Welcome Center, a new home for Guest Relations at Disney Springs that will offer a wealth of services including theme park and Cirque du Soleil ticket sales, Disney dining and resort reservations, information for guests with disabilities, foreign currency exchanges, and other general assistance items. Themed to early Florida settlements, the architecture around The Spring is based on timber frame structures that were once used in the citrus and ranching industries.
Access to Disney Springs is about to become even easier. Roadway improvements on Buena Vista Drive are nearly complete, with additional car lanes and dedicated bus lanes now operational. Also, now open, the Lime Garage offers Guests convenient parking access to Disney Springs Town Center and the Marketplace. This new garage, similar to the Orange Garage on the West Side, uses smart technology to identify open parking spaces.

- Sugarboo & Co.: With products featuring creative and whimsical designs, this family-run business offers artful prints, home goods, paper products, accessories and more.
- Superdry: Focusing on clothing with designs that fuse vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics with a British style, Superdry offers a variety of products ranging from outerwear and knitwear to leather goods and leisurewear.
- TUMI: A leading global brand of premium travel, business and lifestyle accessories.
Nearing completion on the largest expansion in its history, Disney Springs is emerging as an exciting new waterfront district for world-class shopping, unique dining, and high-quality entertainment. Inspired by Florida’s waterfront towns and natural beauty, Disney Springs has four distinct outdoor neighborhoods including The Landing, Marketplace, West Side and the new Town Center.

L’Occitane en Provence opens its fifth flagship boutique at Disney Springs
Natural French beauty retailer L’OCCITANE en Provence opened its fifth flagship store today in Disney Springs, a new waterfront district for world-class shopping, unique dining and high-quality entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Opening just in time for the summer season and featuring the company’s full range of popular skin, body and fragrance products, the new 2,549-square-foot boutique is located in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs, joining a long list of other high-profile locations opening at the property this year as it continues the largest expansion in its history.

PADDLEFISH OPENS IN FALL 2016 AT DISNEY SPRINGS
Fulton’s Crab House, the steamboat currently under refurbishment at Disney Springs™, will reopen this fall as Paddlefish after a bow-to-stern transformation.
Plus, a fun new addition is lobster guacamole made tableside with Maine Lobster, chilies, cilantro, lime and tortilla chips. And, there’s a “build-your-own-boil” allowing Guests to pick their own ingredients and seasonings
The sleek modern design of Paddlefish includes a new rooftop lounge, open until 2 a.m., with spectacular views of Disney Springs and the water. The lounge will have a separate menu of eclectic dishes perfect for sharing.
ENJOY NEW ACTS AT LA NOUBA BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL WITH HALF-PRICED TICKETS FOR KIDS

With sweets almost too pretty to eat, Amorette’s Patisserie showcases the beautiful work of Walt Disney World® Resort pastry chefs in a new shop coming to Disney Springs™.
From a classic macaron or crisp, light pavlova to the ultimate chocolate-chocolate chunk cookie, Amorette’s is a dessert lover’s dream come true.
There’s something for everyone: eclairs, New York-style cheesecake, opera cake and sacher torte. Special sweets have names like “Reflection in Memphis” (peanut blondie with bacon, banana and chocolate) and Strawberry Fields of OC (strawberry mousse with basil sugar and lemon curd). Amorette’s Signature Cake is beautifully decorated, with 10 layers of delectable flavors and textures. These are edibles that only a talented pastry artist could create. And, yes, there’s gluten friendly cakes on the menu.
Amorette’s features a few delectable beverage options as well. Your Clients can sip a Champagne or sparkling wine with their pastry, or go straight for the indulgent Amorette’s Hot Chocolate Ganache, a cupful of sippable chocolate with Chantilly and shaved dark chocolate on top. Soon guests can enjoy even more food options at Disney Springs with three new kiosks.
Or, they can go sweet with a s’mores crepe with marshmallow cream, chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs; banana with Nutella and salted caramel; Key lime cheesecake with white chocolate and chiffon crouton; or strawberries Romanoff with Chantilly cream and strawberries.
Guests can pair their crepe with wine on tap, beer or hard alcohol soda (Not Your Father’s Hard Root Beer and Henry’s Hard Orange Soda). Or try one of our refreshing non-alcoholic beverages, including Frozen Joffrey’s Frappe Mocha and hot cocoa.
The Daily Poutine brings the Canadian classic to Disney Springs with four varieties of toppings on hot, thick-cut French fries—Classic, with beef poutine gravy and Cheddar cheese curds; Latin with fried yucca, black beans, pulled pork and queso fresco; Italian with Bocconcino mozzarella and Bolognese sauce; and French with mushroom cream sauce and Gruyere cheese. They pair well with a draft beer, sangria, lemonade or fountain soda.
And, at B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. guests can enjoy artisan sausages—The Three Little Pigs features a trio of sausages each with different toppings: Reuben, bacon-wrapped with black bean salsa and chili cheese; Portuguese sausage with pickled vegetable slaw and chili mustard; sweet hot sausage with peppers, onions and marinara; Bavarian sausage sandwich with a mini-meterwurst, braised red cabbage and spicy brown mustard on a pretzel roll; and Italian veggie sausage with peppers, onions and marinara. For the first time in the history of Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba has dedicated an entire act to the high-energy dance B-Boying, commonly referred to as breakdancing. This new act brings together three accomplished B-Boy dancers from around the world with the choreography, design, music and costumes of Cirque du Soleil, to offer Guests an experience like never before.
