The Trolley Car Café Now Open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests can now enjoy favorite Starbucks menu items at The Trolley Car Café located on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

Themed to a classic trolley car station from early 20th century Hollywood, The Trolley Car Café serves Disney baked goods and Starbucks La Boulange™ pastry items, as well as Starbucks coffee and espresso beverages.

The Trolley Car Café is the third in-park location serving Starbucks products at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Locations are already open at Magic Kingdom® Park and Epcot®, as well as Downtown Disney®.

A new location will open this summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Creature Comforts is being re-imagined and will also serve Starbucks coffee and espresso beverages, as well as Frappuccino blended beverages and signature breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

“Cinderella” Sneak Peek and Golden Coach at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

For a limited time beginning Jan. 17, 2015, guests can head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at the Walt Disney World® Resort for an exclusive preview of the new live-action Disney feature “Cinderella,” in theaters on March 13, 2015. This special speak peek will be presented at the park’s ABC Sound Studio through March, 21, 2015.

In addition, guests will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the original golden coach from the film. This stunning set piece will be on display in front of the movie theater façade on Streets of America at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Feb. 1-April 11, 2015.

Disney visitors say farewell to Hollywood Studios’ big hat

It’s the beginning of the end for the big hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A construction wall now surrounds the structure, which has served as the theme park’s icon for several years.

Disney Set to Remove Sorcerer Hat from Park on January 7

Disney is planning on removing the Sorcerer Mickey Hat from Disney’s Hollywood Studios on January 7.  The hat served as the park icon since 2001. It is unclear what will take over that space.hollywood studios

Star Wars Weekends to Return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with New Dining Events!

Guests can feel the power of the force when Star Wars Weekends returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at the Walt Disney World® Resort every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 15-June 14, 2015. This galactic event is filled with special shows, exciting presentations and more.

Plus, this year, guests can take their Star Wars Weekends experience to a whole new galaxy with out-of-this universe dining experiences daily from May 4-June 14, 2015, including Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast and Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine, including Fantasmic! Dining Package.

Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast

This cosmic breakfast at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant features favorite Characters from a galaxy far, far away, including Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Greedo, Jawas and Stormtroopers.

This experience will take place daily May 4-June 14, 2015 8 a.m.-11 a.m. The price for the Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast is $49.99 per adult and $31.99 per child ages 3-9. Prices include tax, but not gratuity.

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine, Including Fantasmic! Dining Package

This unique dining experience allows guests to celebrate the Star Wars saga with special décor, themed menu options and stirring music – followed by the evening’s first Fantasmic! show. This intergalactic feast includes appearances by favorite Disney pals dressed as popular Characters from the Star Wars universe, including Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Darth Vader Goofy, Storm Trooper Donald and Ewoks Chip ‘n’ Dale.

This experience will take place daily May 4-June 14, 2015 from 4:15 p.m.-8 p.m. The price for the Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine, including Fantasmic! Dining Package is $57.99 per adult and $34.99 per child ages 3-9. Prices include tax, but not gratuity.

Advanced reservations for both of these dining experiences are highly recommended. Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required. Entertainment and Character appearances are subject to change.

New Starbucks Location Tapped for Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios welcomes a Starbucks location in February, 2015. The new store, The Trolley Car Café, will be themed to a classic trolley car along Hollywood Boulevard and offer a unique experience for coffee lovers visiting the park. Guests to the store also will be able to enjoy Disney baked goods and Starbucks’ La Boulange pastry items at the store. The Trolley Car Café will be the fourth location serving Starbucks products at Walt Disney World Resort. Locations are already open at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as at Downtown Disney.

Sorcerer’s Hat to be removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Orlando station, WKMG, is reporting that Disney has confirmed that it will be removing the Sorcerer Hat from Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2015.
