Iron Man Hulkbuster suit test footage developed by talented filmmakers

According to ComicBook.com on Saturday, animators Anthony McGrath and Mark Cushley created fan-made footage of the Iron Man Hulkbuster suit of armor. The film footage originated from their Iron Man Mk Z armour Facebook page in which the motivation for the animation was by the request by a company to see their recent work. One would think the such a portion of their portfolio would indeed impress.

Marvel settles dispute over superhero rights with Jack Kirby estate

Marvel and the members of Jack Kirby’s family issued a joint statement Friday to announce that the long-running legal case over royalties related to characters created or co-created by the legendary pioneer has been settled out of court.

Marvel Music And Hollywood Records’ Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1 Soundtrack Is Certified Gold

Eight weeks after its release, Marvel Music and Hollywood Records’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1 soundtrack has certified Gold, selling over 500,000 copies.  The album was the second chart-topping soundtrack of 2014 and was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in its second and third weeks of release, for the weeks ending Aug. 10 and Aug. 17.  The album also peaked at No. 1 on iTunes in 60 territories.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film has earned over $630 million worldwide and recently passed the $300 million mark at both the domestic and international box offices. Guardians of the Galaxy opened domestically August 1 with $94.3 million to become the biggest August debut of all time and ultimately the biggest August release ever; it’s also the highest grossing film of the year and the first to surpass $300 million in 2014. After becoming the 10th straight Marvel Studios film to open at #1, Guardians of the Galaxy occupied the top spot domestically for four of its first six weekends in release.

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which first appeared in comic books in Marvel Super-Heroes, Issue #18 (Jan. 1969), stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.   James Gunn is the director of the film with Kevin Feige, p.g.a., producing. Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Jeremy Latcham, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serve as executive producers. Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” is written by James Gunn and Nicole Perlman.

On September 16, Marvel Music and Hollywood Records released a vinyl edition of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe soundtrack.  Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy digital score soundtrack are available wherever music is sold.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Plot: It’s Tony Stark’s Fault

The Avengers: Age of Ultron isn’t hitting theaters until May 2015, but this week, fans got some important new information about the movie to help tide them over.
