Here’s What We Know About Disney’s Newest Ship

With three new Disney ships on the horizon, anticipation is high to discover more details about our expanding fleet. 

Recently, we revealed the name of our fifth ship – and offered a first look at some of the vessel’s iconic features. Disney Cruise Line has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and children can experience all Disney has to offer. As we continue to expand our blueprint for family cruising, with three more ships scheduled for completion in 2021, 2022 and 2023, stay tuned for more exciting details.

Disney Early Morning Magic Returns to Magic Kingdom Park!

We are so excited to announce that Disney Early Morning Magic at Magic Kingdom® Park is returning with new dates for this year and next!

Starting on Nov. 13, 2019, you can enjoy limited-entry, early access to favorite attractions throughout Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park and also have a delicious breakfast. 

Some of the returning attractions are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Princess Fairytale Hall, “it’s a small world”, Mad Tea Party, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid.

The morning will also include breakfast at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café that comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, assorted pastries and more. Breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and exclusive event-only access to the attractions lasts from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Disney Early Morning Magic requires a separate reservation – $89 for adults and $79 for children (regular theme park admission is required). Admission will be limited, so be sure to book your reservation as soon as possible!

#DisneyParksLIVE: Watch the Debut of ‘Epcot Forever’ on Oct. 1 at 8:50 p.m. ET

The debut of “Epcot® Forever,” the new limited-time nighttime spectacular, is just a few days away on Oct. 1, 2019.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce that the Disney Parks Blog will host a #DisneyParksLIVE stream of the first-ever performance of the show on October 1!

Epcot Forever” will be an all-new, limited-time spectacle of fireworks, music, lighting, lasers and choreographed special effects kites. The show takes us on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot, featuring a stirring collection of songs that paint a colorful picture of the park, with a look towards the future and all the magical possibilities still to come.

DISNEY’S STREAMING SERVICE: DISNEY+’S PRICE, NEW SHOWS, MOVIES, LAUNCH DATE, AND MORE

Disney+ has the potential to utterly change the streaming market. First hinted at several years ago and announced in 2017, Disney’s bid to enter the field seemed to spur on its quest to purchase the 20th Century Fox assets and separate itself from Netflix.

New Disney Skyliner Transportation System Now Open at Walt Disney World Resort

Magic is in the air at Walt Disney World® Resort with the new Disney Skyliner transportation system. Disney executives were joined by several other cast members this morning at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for a special dedication moment for the complimentary new transportation system. Today’s festivities featured Disney characters, fireworks and more in honor of this “most magical flight on Earth.”

Disney Skyliner connects Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios® to four Disney resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the forthcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort, set to open Dec. 16, 2019. The system serves as a magic carpet, floating Guests through the air aboard approximately 300 gondolas, nearly half of which are wrapped in whimsical Disney scenes of beloved characters, fan-favorite movies, theme park attractions and more. 

While riding Disney Skyliner, you will be treated to never-before-seen views of Walt Disney World Resort as they float along the treetops and waterways alike. The system provides bird’s-eye vantage points of Disney icons such as the Hollywood Tower Hotel and Spaceship Earth.

Putting the Finishing Touches on the Visual Spectacle of ‘Epcot Forever’

We’re just days away from the world premiere of the new limited-time nighttime spectacular, “Epcot® Forever.” The show promises to take you on a journey through the years and into the future, bringing World Showcase Lagoon to life with a spark of imagination that quickly grows into an epic spectacle of fireworks, lighting, lasers and choreographed special effects kites.

We recently shared a behind the scenes look at the production of the music for the show. Today, we’re sharing a glimpse of the incredible work taking place to make “Epcot Forever” a visual spectacle unlike any other, combining familiar elements from previous shows with new features – and a few surprises thrown in, too!

5 things Kevin Feige making a ‘Star Wars’ film could mean for Disney

It’s the executive crossover event of the season: Marvel Studios’ head Kevin Feige is developing a Star Wars film alongside Lucasfilms’ president, Kathleen Kennedy. On the surface, this news could stem from the fact that, in addition to being an ardent Star Wars fanboy, Feige’s load has been lightened a bit with Avengers: Endgame wrapping up the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s sprawling Phase Three.
