New Play Disney Parks App Digital Achievements and Commemorative Trading Pins available at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort

Fans of the Play Disney Parks mobile app love to earn and collect uniquely themed digital achievements after enjoying select attractions throughout the Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort. Today, we are excited to share that many new digital achievements have been added to the Play Disney Parks app on both coasts! Here’s the lineup of newly added attractions and experiences where you can start earning achievements today.

Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort

  • Earn a digital achievement for riding Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! in order to purchase the Seeing is Boo-lieving pin at Trolley Treats or Studio Store.
  • Collect a digital achievement for riding Radiator Springs Racers and to buy the Radiator Springs Racer pin at Trolley Treats or Ramone’s House of Body Art.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort

  • Enjoy the Festival of the Lion King show and earn a digital achievement in order to purchase the Pride of the Pride Lands trading pin, which can be found at Discovery Trading Company, Mariya’s Souvenirs and the Africa Hub Cart.
  • Earn a digital achievement after journeying through Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in order to purchase the Everest Mountaineer pin at Discovery Trading Company and Serka Zong Bazaar.

Top Tips for Walt Disney World Resort – 2019

Because Walt Disney World is massive there is a lot to see and so and plan for. Don’t even think for a second that you can do it all in one week. I’ve been going for over 15 years and still haven’t done it all. Don’t let that scare you. Prioritize and stick to your plan and all will be well. Special Look at Disney’s “Frozen 2” Coming Soon to Disney Parks

When it premiered six years ago, “Frozen” became an instant classic, as audiences embraced the music-filled tale of two sisters. Next month, their story continues with the debut of Disney’s epic new adventure, “Frozen 2.” Here’s a special message from two of the stars of the film, Kristen Bell and Josh Gad.

For a limited time this fall, when guests visit Disney Parks and or sail with Disney Cruise Line, they can get an early glimpse of scenes from “Frozen 2.” Beginning Nov. 3, 2019, a special look at moments from the film will be presented in the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure® Park, for Guests gathered to experience the “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” stage spectacular.

A sneak peek of the film will also be shown as part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® beginning on Nov. 5, and onboard Disney Cruise Line during the month of November.

In Disney’s new adventure, “Frozen 2,” Elsa sets out together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, on a dangerous but remarkable journey to discover why she was born with magical powers. The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Elsa once feared her powers were too much for the world. Now, she must hope they are enough.

Minnie Van Airport Service Add-On Now Available For Additional Resort Hotels

Beginning today, the Minnie Van Airport Service Add-On is expanding to include additional resort hotels. The new transfer option can be added to any available Walt Disney Travel Company Package from the following properties:

  • Walt Disney World® Swan and Dolphin Hotels
  • Four Seasons Resort Orlando
  • Disney Springs® Resort Area Hotels (B Resort & Spa, Best Western Lake Buena Vista, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Holiday Inn Orlando, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista and Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista)
  • Bonnet Creek Resorts (Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek)
  • Flamingo Crossings Resorts (SpringHill Suites Orlando and TownePlace Suites Orlando)

You can add one-way or round-trip Minnie Van Airport Service between Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Please note the Minnie Van Airport Service Add-On for these hotels can only be booked by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (800) 327-2996.  

Maximum number of Guests allowed per vehicle is six people. Maximum number of bags allowed per vehicle is six medium-sized suitcases. Gratuity is not included. Booking must be made at least three days prior to pick up. Guests needing ADA Accessible vehicles should reach out to Minnie Van team directly at (407) 828-3500. Vehicles are pet-friendly.
