Disney and Dole to Launch New Co-Branded Produce Assortment Featuring Iconic Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel Characters

Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) and Dole Food Company today announced plans to launch a new co-branded assortment of fresh produce featuring iconic Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel characters at grocery and retail stores nationwide beginning this fall. The announcement comes ahead of the 2016 Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit Convention and Expo taking place October 14-16 in Orlando, Fla. (Disney booth #409, Dole booth #3043), where both brands will have a presence.

New Benefits Coming to Walt Disney World Passholders During Resort’s 45th Anniversary Year

Wrapped in exciting fall events, the merriest of holiday happenings and a 2017 filled with spectacular openings, Walt Disney World Resort is marking its 45th anniversary — and unwrapping three special offers for passholders.

Popular Walt Disney World passes, good for theme park admission, valuable Disney savings and other perks throughout the year, gets even sweeter to mark the anniversary:

‘Disney In Concert Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas’

Fans of Disney’s timeless holiday classic, TIM BURTON’S THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS will now have another chance to see DISNEY IN CONCERT’S TIM BURTON’S THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 28 at 8:00pm.  The first two nights of this concert event sold out within days when it was announced Los Angeles’ reigning Pumpkin King, Danny Elfman, would return to the Hollywood Bowl performing his role of Jack Skellington singing live to film.  Elfman will be joined by other original cast members including Catherine O’Hara(Sally), Ken Page (Oogie Boogie) and Paul Reubens (Lock).

First released in 1993, Tim Burton’s THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS was directed by Henry Selick (JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH), and based on a story and characters by Tim Burton. The film follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures ofJack Skellington, Halloween Town’s beloved Pumpkin King, as he attempts to take over the Christmas holiday. Against the advice of Sally, a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters – Lock, Shock, and Barrel – to help him kidnap Santa Claus. The film is rated “PG”.

Disney Parks Launches 10th Annual Moms Panel Search

Today, Disney Parks kicks off the 10th annual search for applicants to join the 2017 Disney Parks Moms Panel. Moms, dads, grandparents, and guardians of all walks of life can serve as panelists for this award-winning, online trip-planning forum.

Disney Parks is seeking seasoned Disney vacationers with diverse backgrounds to lend fresh insights to the Disney Parks Moms Panel that offers advice to guests looking to plan their ultimate Disney getaway. The search is on for new panelists who can answer questions in any of the four languages now used on the forum –English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Adults who have experience with and a passion for Disney vacations are encouraged to apply now through September 14 by visiting www.momspanelsearch.com.

The Disney Moms Panel began in January 2008 as a simple, question-and-answer forum with only 12 members focused solely on the Walt Disney World Resort. Today, the Disney Moms Panel is a multilingual resource that has tripled in size with a diverse array of enthusiastic panelists with extensive knowledge of Disney vacation destinations and offerings, including Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, runDisney and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Applicants selected to be panelists for the Disney Parks Moms Panel will be announced in January 2017.
