Disney Channel’s premiere of the special “Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy,” (Sunday, November 23, 7:00 p.m.) — featuring a special appearance by Rapunzel voiced by Mandy Moore — delivered royal ratings with 4.7 million Total Viewers, the series’ #2 telecast of all time and the #1 evening preschool telecast year to date. It was the #1 evening telecast across all TV among Kids 2-5 (1.4 million/9.2 rating) and Girls 2-5 (1.1 million/13.8 rating) and the #1 evening preschool telecast among Kids 2-11 (2.7 million/6.9 rating), Adults 18-49 (1.5 million/1.2 rating) and Women 18-49 (950,000/1.5 rating).
A Hawaiian holiday episode of “Jessie” guest starring Maia Mitchell (“Teen Beach Movie”) and popular “Liv and Maddie” characters Joey Bragg and Tenzing Norgay Trainor, plus a holiday reunion episode of “Girl Meets World” guest starring “Boy Meets World” alumni Rider Strong (“Shawn Hunter”), William Russ (“Alan Matthews”) and Betsy Randle (“Amy Matthews”), new episodes of “I Didn’t Do It” guest starring Reginald Vel Johnson (“Family Matters”), “Dog With A Blog” and “Liv and Maddie,” will be presented during the fourth annual “Fa-la-la-lidays” winter programming event beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28 through December. The animated premiere of Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story That Time Forgot” is also scheduled during the month. The multi-platform rollout begins with the “Jessie” episode, available to verified viewers on WATCH Disney Channel on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21. WATCH Disney Channel will continue to roll out holiday programming including 25-days of throwback and holiday-themed episodes, beginning, MONDAY, DECEMBER 1.
The “Fa-La-La-Lidays” celebration includes the winter makeover of DisneyChannel.com. Each week, kids and families will receive a new, exclusive “gift” to unwrap containing holiday-themed games, videos and activities. It will also feature online crafts, giving fans the ability to print their own one-of-a-kind presents to share, including posters, holiday cards and ornaments.

Here comes the Disney Channel’s first-ever bride! In a first for the kids-friendly network, Jessie‘s main character Jessie, played by Debby Ryan, is set to say “I do” to her beau Brooks (Pierson Fode) in the Oct. 10 episode, aptly titled “There Goes the Bride.”
“Downton Abbey” stars Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates), Lesley Nicol (Mrs. Patmore), Matt Milne (Alfred Nugent), Nigel Harman (Mr. Green) and Robert Bathurst (Sir Anthony Strallan) are among the guest-star voice cast in a special episode of Disney Junior’s Emmy-nominated animated series “Doc McStuffins.” Titled “Let the Nightingale Sing,” the episode premieres SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 (8:30-9:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel in the U.S. and in December on Disney Junior UK. In the extended-length episode, Doc and the toys magically travel back to 19th century England where they meet a young Florence Nightingale (voiced by Joanne Froggatt) and help her realize her dream of becoming a nurse.
Jake and his crew of kid pirates take flight over London in Disney Junior’s “Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Battle for the Book!” a primetime special premiering SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26 (6:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. Beloved Disney heritage characters Wendy, John and Michael Darling make their series debut in the music-filled special, with Maia Mitchell (Disney Channel’s “Teen Beach Movie” and ABC Family’s “The Fosters”) voicing the role of Wendy and performing new original song “Once Upon A Time.” Peter Pan and Tinker Bell will also appear.
A full-length preview of “Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Battle for the Book!” will be available on WATCHDisneyJunior.com and the WATCH Disney Junior app for smartphones and tablets beginning Sunday, October 19, followed by the debut of a new Hidden Objects game on Wednesday, October 22.

A month of Halloween-themed episodes of popular series will form a mega “Monstober,” Disney Channel’s annual programming event for kids and families.
Beginning THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2, “Austin & Ally” stars Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy return as “Monstober” hosts to deliver this year’s highlights, which includes the premiere of the mystery-adventure special “Evermoor,” a one-hour episode of “Phineas and Ferb,” and an animated version of the “Jessie” cast in a crossover episode of “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors.” Disney Channel series “Girl Meets World,” “Jessie,” “Dog With A Blog,” “Liv and Maddie,” “Austin & Ally” and “I Didn’t Do It,” along with Disney Television Animation’s “Mickey Mouse,” “Gravity Falls” and “Wander Over Yonder,” will also premiere all-new episodes.
