RESORT AIRLINE CHECK-IN SERVICE AT WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

When guests stay at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel, they enjoy a variety of benefits, including Resort Airline Check-In.

This complimentary service allows Resort Guests flying on participating airlines check-in for their flight, collect their boarding pass and check their bags at the airline check-in desk located at our Disney Resort hotels. When they get to the airport, they simply make their way to security.

All flights must be departing from Orlando International Airport on one of the following airlines: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines or United Airline

Please note beginning Monday, April 11, 2016, Resort Airline Check-In will be available from 5 a.m.-noon in order to better meet Guest demand.

Meet ‘Captain America’ Star Sebastian Stan
At Wizard World Philadelphia, Chicago

The Captain America franchise (The First Avenger and The Winter Soldier) have achieved critical acclaim — and huge box office numbers — and now fans can meet one of the stars that made it so successful when Sebastian Stan appears at Wizard WorldPhiladelphia and Chicago this year.

Stan, who plays “Bucky” Barnes in both Cap hits, has also had recurring roles on the TV series “Once Upon a Time” and “Gossip Girl” and has a Broadway track record that includes stints on hits “Talk Radio” and “Picnic.”

Other film credits include Summit Entertainment’s Gone, Darren Aranofsky’s Black Swan, Rachel Getting Married, Spread, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Education Of Charlie Banks, The Architect andThe Covenant.

He will be joined in Philadelphia by numerous other Marvel stars, including Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie and others.

Meet him at Wizard World’s flagship shows at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5) and at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (August 20-21).

FUN FRESH WEEKENDS AT EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FLOWER AND GARDEN FESTIVAL

The Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival is now in bloom at Walt Disney World® Resort. With fresh, farm-to-table flavors, vibrant gardens, interactive playgrounds and rocking entertainment the Festival boasts fun-filled exploration for every age and interest.

During Festival weekends, guests can celebrate the great outdoors at nature-themed events, including:

Art in the Garden Weekend: April 1-3, 2016

Guests can view nature through the eyes of “Plein Air” artists and discover one-of-a-kind Disney works of art on display around World Showcase.

Outdoor Family Fun Weekend: April 8-10, 2016

Families can enjoy the benefits of sharing quality time together at select Festival gardens. As a bonus, animal specialists fromDisney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park will be on hand at the Festival Center to share how bugs play an important role in helping a garden thrive.

Earth Day Weekend: April 22- 24, 2016

Guests can take part in interactive activities, discoveries and more as they celebrate the place we all call home! Plus, they can learn about the efforts to protect coral reefs and other marine life at The Seas with Nemo & Friends―a special tribute to the amazing creatures that dwell in our vast oceans.

Florida Fresh Weekend: April 29- May 1, 2016

Guests can explore the bounty of the Sunshine State from Apalachicola to Zellwood at this Festival Center-based event.

Florida Federation of Garden Clubs: May 6- 8, 2016

Guests can marvel at amazing flora designs that defy description inside the Festival Center from 10 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Plus, each weekend guests can reach for new horticultural heights by visiting the Festival Center for inside tips, DIY inspiration and top gardening trends. The Festival Center is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. throughout the event.

And, don’t forget … pop bands with hits spanning the decades take the stage every Festival weekend for the Garden Rocks Concert Series at America Gardens Theatre. Blood, Sweat & Tears featuring Bo Bice, Bad Company, former lead singer BRIAN HOWE, Georgia Satellites and Darlene Love make their Festival debut this year.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival runs now through May 30, 2016. Admission to Epcot is required. While most Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival events are included with your theme park ticket, many experiences require a separate purchase or a separate admission fee. Availability is limited for some experiences. Events may be rescheduled or cancelled at any time.

Walt Disney Records Announces Compilation Album Everybody Loves Disney

Walt Disney Records has released the compilation album Everybody Loves Disney, now available at all download stores (http://smarturl.it/elda1) and streaming services (http://smarturl.it/eldsta1).  The album features YouTube stars with a combined 14 million subscribers and 2.7 billion views, delivering their own unique interpretations of classic Disney songs.  Each artist revealed their music videos on their respective social media platforms on the digital album release date, Friday, March 25th.   The unique collaboration between the label and YouTube stars is in celebration of last year’s Top 10 Billboard album, We Love Disney, produced by David Foster.

Everybody Loves Disney highlights include “Go the Distance” (from “Hercules”) by Kurt Hugo Schneider (3M subscribers) with Hollywood Records artist Shawn Hook.  Hook’s current single, “Sound of Your Heart” is a Top 25 hit at Top 40 radio and is #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Chart. The video for “Sound of Your Heart” has amassed over 4 million online views.  Additionally, Sam Tsui (2.3M+ subscribers) performs “The Rainbow Connection” from “The Muppets” and Alex G (1.5M subscribers) performs her version of “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin.”
