In this we see what went in to taking Aladdin from animation to the stage. It looks so easy and seamless on the stage that it really surprised me to learn that it almost didn’t make it to Broadway. The Genie, the carpet, and the fact that the movie was from the early 90s made it a challenge from the start. In interviews with the geniuses behind the music, choreography, and script as well as the cast, we get a glimpse into all that goes into making a Broadway smash. I literally could watch rehearsal footage all day long. I just love it! Disney’s Aladdin Diamond Edition must become part of your Disney movie collection.
