WWE® Superstars And Divas To Appear During 2015 Wizard World Chicago

Five larger-than-life WWE® Superstars and Divas will be in attendance at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago when The Undertaker®, Sting™, Randy Orton®, Daniel Bryan®, and WWE Diva Paige™ appear during the pop culture extravaganza, set for August 20-23 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

Randy Orton (4:30-8:00 p.m.) and Daniel Bryan (5:30-8:30 p.m.) will appear on Thursday, August 20, greeting fans, signing autographs and posing for photo ops (Bryan will also conduct a question and answer panel at 8 p.m.). The Undertaker (3-7 p.m.) and Paige (3:30-7:30 p.m.) will attend on Friday, August 21 (Paige’s question and answer panel is set for 7 p.m.). Sting is scheduled for Saturday, August 22 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.), and will make a rare appearance in face paint.

Wizard World Launches CON RADIO

‘Avengers’ Star Jeremy Renner To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Chicago August 23

Two-time Academy Award® nominee Jeremy Renner will make his Wizard World Comic Con debut in Chicago on Sunday, August 23. The star of blockbusters The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Hurt Locker, The Bourne Legacy and others, Renner will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive fan Q&A panel in Wizard World’s largest and longest-running show.

In July, Renner will reprise his role as “William Brandt” in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. He is currently filming Captain America: Civil War, after playing Clint Barton/Hawkeye in last month’s release of second installment of The Avengers: Age of Ultron .

His Academy Award® nominations have come as Best Actor for The Hurt Locker in 2008 and Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Town two years later.

Hollywood Icon Burt Reynolds To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Chicago, Saturday, August 22

Burt Reynolds, film and TV star and sex symbol for decades, will make his second Wizard World Comic Con appearance when he appears at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on Saturday, August 22, Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) announced today. One of the all-time Hollywood greats, Reynolds has starred in dozens of popular films and TV series, making him one of the most recognizable entertainment figures of the past half-century.

Reynolds, 79, had his breakout role opposite Jon Voight in 1972’s Deliverance, followed by a string of blockbuster hits that included The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run and Boogie Nights , for which he earned an Oscar nomination. He also earned acclaim—two Golden Globes and a Primetime Emmy—for his performance as the lead in the ‘90s comedy series “Evening Shade.” He is also a best-selling author, as his 1994 autobiography My Life reached the New York Times list.

A noted humanitarian, Reynolds received the prestigious “Children at Heart Award” for his humanitarian efforts benefiting and aiding the children of Chernobyl among numerous other causes.

He was a big hit at his first Wizard World show in Philadelphia in May.

Orlando Added to 2016 Wizard World Comic Con Calendar

Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) today announced the addition of Wizard World Comic Con Orlando to its 2016 schedule. The inaugural event will be held August 5-7 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Celebrity and comics creator guests and other details about the event will be announced as they are confirmed..

Wizard World has 26 events scheduled on its 2015 calendar. Confirmed events for 2015 and 2016 are available at www.wizardworld.com/wizcon.html . Along with Albuquerque, N.M., and Greenville, S.C., Orlando is one of three inaugural shows to date scheduled for 2016 Wizard World debuts.

Norman Reedus Of ‘The Walking Dead’ To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Chicago

orman Reedus, star of “The Walking Dead,” returns to Wizard World Comic Con when he appears in Chicago this summer.

Reedus, a hugely popular Wizard World guest also well-known to fans for his work in The Boondock Saints and Blade II, portrays the volatile “Daryl Dixon” in the hit cable series. His character’s breakout stardom on the show is one of the biggest in television history.

The personable Reedus is scheduled to appear at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., on Saturday and Sunday, August 22-23.
