“The Chew” Celebrates the 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival from Walt Disney World Resort, October 12-16
For the first time in the history of ABC’s “The Chew,” the show traveled to Orlando, FL to tape a week of programs highlighting all of the food, fun and festivities of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World Resort. Co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall and Clinton Kelly had a magical experience with stellar dining, thrilling rides and one-of-a-kind experiences, including visiting Animal Kingdom and buckling in for a high-speed adventure at Test Track presented by Chevrolet in Epcot.
Guests included Alfonso Ribeiro (ABC’s “AFV”) and Bellamy Young (ABC’s “Scandal”). “The Chew” also surprised its live audience with appearances from the classic Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Goofy and a performance from the cast of Disney’s “Festival of The Lion King.”

Disney ABC Television Group Chooses STOMP Out Bullying™ As Partner In Prevention Campaign
This month, the Disney ABC Television Group is launching its “Choose Kindness” bullying prevention campaign across all platforms in support of National Bullying Prevention Month and has chosen STOMP Out Bullying™, the leading anti-bullying and cyberbullying organization for kids and teens in the US, as one of their partners in the crusade.
In addition to a generous $25,000 donation being made by ESPN, ABC television programs “The Chew” and “The View” highlighted STOMP Out Bullying’s “World Day of Bullying Prevention” campaign and their messaging will be highlighted on scheduled network programming throughout the month of October. Long-time supporter Robin Roberts showed her support by taping a PSA in honor of Blue Shirt Day® World Day of Bullying Prevention which will air on the network throughout October as well.
“Our hope is that this campaign strengthens our communities by encouraging youth and adults to be inspired to create the world they imagine by choosing kindness, and thus helping put an end to bullying,” said David Ambroz, Executive Director, Corporate Citizenship and Social Responsibility, Disney ABC Television Group.

Full Dancing With The Stars Cast & Pro Pairings Revealed!
The celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars is strapping on their ballroom shoes and getting ready for their first dance on MONDAY SEPT 14 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. This 21st season’s lineup of celebrity dancers and their Pro partners was announced this morning on Good Morning America.

TAMAR BRAXTON is a Grammy-nominated singer, talk show host, and reality television personality. A veteran performer who began singing backup vocals for her older sister Toni at age 12, Tamar Braxton was also a founding member of R&B group The Braxtons with Toni and their siblings Traci, Towanda and Trina. Tamar’s third solo album, Calling All Lovers, releases September 11, 2015. Tamar executive produces and stars with her sisters in the WE tv reality hit Braxton Family Values, as well as the spinoff Tamar & Vince, with her music manager husband Vince Herbert. ABC’s “black-ish” Cast Children Celebrate Wrap of Successful First Season at Walt Disney World Resort
This past weekend, the four actors who play the Johnson family children on ABC’s comedy “black-ish”, kicked off their summer break together at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida following the wrap of the show’s first season. “black-ish” stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross as the parents of four children played by Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Marcus Scribner as Andre Johnson, Jr., Miles Brown as Jack Johnson, and Marsai Martin as Diane Johnson.
The show, which has new episodes airing through May, has become the season’s No. 1 new comedy in adults 18-49 and swept the 2015 NAACP Image Awards’ television comedy categories, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Shahidi. To celebrate the show’s success, Shahidi, Scribner, Brown and Martin took their break time together along with their actual parents to get an early start on Walt Disney World’s Coolest Summer Ever celebration.
Some of their vacation highlights included:
- Receiving a personal welcome from Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
- Riding the playful Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom

- Learning about 400 years of African-American achievement at “Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection,” an exhibit at Epcot which features rare art, documents, books and artifacts amassed by philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey.
- Experiencing a star moment when they had their picture taken by Goofy in front of
the “black-ish” billboard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
