“Frozen” Characters Appearing on Select Disney Cruise Line Sailings This Summer
Princess Anna and Queen Elsa from the popular Disney animated film, “Frozen” are appearing on select 7-night and longer sailings aboard Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy throughout the summer.
Guests can meet and greet these favorite Disney Royals at various times during select cruises. Guests can refer to their Personal Navigator once onboard the ship for specific meeting times and locations.
*Please note this summer’s royal tour does not currently include visits aboard the Disney Dream.

Marvel Launches Out-of-This World Assortment of Products Inspired by “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy”
Marvel Entertainment in conjunction with Disney Consumer Products (DCP) unveils an action-packed product collection to celebrate Marvel’s epic space adventure, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, in theaters August 1, 2014. Best-in-class licensees including Hasbro, LEGO, Disguise, Her Universe, Café Press, Mad Engine, Just Play, KidDesigns, Hot Wheels, Rubie’s, C-Life and Jay Franco as well as The Disney Store and more have teamed up for an assortment of action figures, plush, playsets, role-play, costumes, and 80’s nostalgia-inspired lifestyle products that leverage the unique storytelling in the new Marvel franchise. From authentic character voices that bring electronic figures to life along with custom spacecraft builds and interactive battle gear, guardians of all ages will be able to immerse themselves in the intergalactic action.

Paul Candland Named President, The Walt Disney Company, Asia
Underscoring the growing importance of Asia to The Walt Disney Company’s global growth strategy, Paul Candland has been named to the newly created position of president, The Walt Disney Company, Asia, with oversight of Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Greater China. Mr. Candland, a 16-year Disney veteran and president of Walt Disney Japan, will be responsible for driving the company’s strategy and coordinating all of its business efforts in Asia. He will report directly to Andy Bird, chairman Walt Disney International. Rob Gilby, managing director, TWDC South East Asia, will report to Mr. Candland.
In addition, Stanley Cheung, managing director of TWDC Greater China, has been promoted to chairman of TWDC Greater China, reporting to Mr. Bird. Senior vice president Luke Kang will assume Mr. Cheung’s former role as managing director of TWDC Greater China. Mr. Kang will report to both Mr. Cheung and Mr. Candland and will have direct oversight of Disney’s businesses in Greater China, excluding Shanghai Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, which report to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs.
