Eighth Disney Parks Moms Panel Features 22 New Park-Savvy Parents

Disney Parks officially announced today 22 new members of the 2015 Disney Parks Moms Panel. Each panelist possesses exemplary knowledge about a specific Disney Destination, including Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, runDisney, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, and more. This diverse group of dedicated enthusiasts will share its vast park experience with future visitors looking to add an extra pinch of pixie dust to their desired Disney trip.

Launched in 2008, the Disney Parks Moms Panel is a resource designed to help guests craft and plan their perfect Disney vacation. In addition to being available in English and Spanish, this year, the Disney Parks Moms Panel adds two new language pages – French and Portuguese. Guests will be able to reach an array of Panelists consisting of moms, grandparents, dads, single parents, and parents of special needs children. Questions to the site cover many Disney-related vacation topics, such as theme park tips, cruise ship itineraries, on-property hotel options, baby care center locations, special in-park events, and many more. Panelists share a passion for all things Disney and extensive knowledge of its properties and products – and just as important – are excited to provide tips to help create lifelong memories for others.

Later this year, the Disney Parks Moms Panel will also be optimized for mobile devices, enabling travelers to plan on the go.

“Those of us on the selection committee this year were excited by the increased number of applicants from all over the world,” said Leanne O’Regan, director of social media for Disney Parks. “We recognize the importance of implementing additional language options that cater to our culturally diverse guests.”

In September 2014, thousands of Moms Panel hopefuls worldwide submitted applications for a coveted spot. From those passionate submissions, a new group of 22 parents and grandparents was selected to join the prestigious forum. Including the new class, the 2015 Disney Parks Moms Panel now has a total of 50 members.

Hot Topic Announces New Cinderella Collection

Hot Topic announced today a limited edition fashion collection inspired by the Walt Disney Studios live action film “Cinderella,” in theaters March 13th. The collection will be available February 24th exclusively at Hot Topic stores and on hottopic.com, with a pre-sale starting February 3rd on hottopic.com.

The “Cinderella” collection features fashion apparel inspired by costumes and iconic moments from the feature film. Each piece has been designed with great attention to detail and includes accents symbolic of the beloved fairy tale, like clock and carriage prints and glass slipper-imprinted hardware.

“We are all such big fans of Cinderella here at Hot Topic, and are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to create a fashion collection inspired by Disney’s upcoming live-action film,” said Cindy Levitt, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing at Hot Topic. “The collection has just enough twists to make it wearable, but is still a bit magical, for our fan girl customer.”

All Aboard: A Celebration of Walt’s Trains explores the influence that railroading had on Walt Disney’s life and work, and how his railroading legacy lives on to this day in Disney films and theme parks around the world. Through rare artifacts, firsthand accounts, archival videos, images, and running model trains, guests will learn how Walt’s passion for trains developed before manifesting itself in Disney short cartoons, feature films, and in Walt’s personal life at home.

Video – Super Bowl Champions from New England Patriots Celebrate Win at Disneyland Resort

Just hours after shouting the iconic phrase, “I’m going to Disneyland!” Julian Edelman and Malcolm Butler flew to the Disneyland Resort in Southern California to celebrate their team’s Super Bowl win. Park guests cheered as they cruised down Main Street U.S.A. in a ticker tape victory parade with Mickey Mouse.
