“The Chew” Celebrates the 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival from Walt Disney World Resort, October 12-16

For the first time in the history of ABC’s “The Chew,” the show traveled to Orlando, FL to tape a week of programs highlighting all of the food, fun and festivities of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World Resort. Co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall and Clinton Kelly had a magical experience with stellar dining, thrilling rides and one-of-a-kind experiences, including visiting Animal Kingdom and buckling in for a high-speed adventure at Test Track presented by Chevrolet in Epcot.

Guests included Alfonso Ribeiro (ABC’s “AFV”) and Bellamy Young (ABC’s “Scandal”). “The Chew” also surprised its live audience with appearances from the classic Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Goofy and a performance from the cast of Disney’s “Festival of The Lion King.”

Listings for the week of OCTOBER 12-16 (subject to change; weekdays, 1:00 p.m., ET; broadcast in stereo):

MONDAY, OCTOBER 12 – “THE CHEW’S FAMILY VACATION” – Carla Hall makes a delicious Norwegian roasted salmon & ranch potato galette; Michael Symon visits The Land at Epcot to check out the center’s hydroponic gardening program and makes a meal with its vegetables; Mickey Mouse and Goofy stop by to say hello.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 – “MAKING MEAL MAGIC”   Alfonso Ribeiro (ABC’s “AFV”); Mario Batali and Michael Symon square off with their recipes for angel hair with Brussel sprouts, bacon and walnuts and shrimp Fra Diavolo over linguine.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14 – “EASY FIVE STAR FEAST”  Mario Batali visits Iron Chef Morimoto’s new restaurant at Disney Springs, Morimoto Asia; Bellamy Young (ABC’s “Scandal”).

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15 – “TRY SOMETHING NEW!”  Clinton Kelly and Carla Hall visit Magic Kingdom; the cast of “The Festival of The Lion King” performs.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16 – “YOUR PERFECT PARTY PLAN”   The perfect party snacks and cocktails; “The Chew” co-hosts stop by the Rockin’ Burger Block Party; a look back at some of the show’s favorite moments at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival from Walt Disney World.

GET A GLIMPSE OF DISNEY•PIXAR’S THE GOOD DINOSAUR AT DISNEY PARKS STARTING OCT. 16

Beginning Oct.16, 2015, Guests visiting Disney Parks will be able to catch a preview of scenes from the new Disney•ŸPixar adventure, “The Good Dinosaur” coming to theaters this Thanksgiving.

This new film takes the audience on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Guests can see an advance sneak peek of this exciting adventure at Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, as part of the One Man’s Dream attraction on Mickey Avenue. At Disneyland® Resort in California, guests can catch “The Good Dinosaur” preview at Disney California Adventure® Park in the “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” Theater with special in-theater effects.

“The Good Dinosaur” preview will run through Dec. 4, 2015 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The regular One Man’s Dream finale film will return on Dec. 5, 2015 – just in time for Walt Disney’s birthday. And, in California, the sneak peek will run through Dec. 13, 2015 at Disney California Adventure Park. “It’s Tough to be a Bug” is expected to reopen once the preview is done.

“The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

TUNE IN! SHOWS AIR THIS WEEK FOR ABC’S “THE CHEW” AT EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL

For the first time ever, ABC’s “The Chew” left their studios in New York City and headed to the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida to tape five shows airing this week on ABC.

Tune in to see the Emmy-winning hosts create delicious treats on stage, showcase festival marketplace dishes, and cook up some fun with Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Throughout the week, they’ll also welcome a variety of special guests, including Chef Morimoto, who just opened Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs™.

Be sure to check out “The Chew” on ABC, Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, noon Central and Pacific.

CLUB DISNEY PREMIERES DEC. 5 AT DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Sunset Showcase, an all-new special event venue, will open later this year on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. This entertainment showplace has been custom designed to host a variety of different experiences over time.

The premier engagement at the new Sunset Showcase will be Club Disney, the hottest spot in town for kids and characters alike! Your Clients can join Mickey and friends on the dance floor in this electric club environment, where a DJ Club Host spins the perfect playlist mix of favorite Radio Disney Top 40 songs as the floor and walls come alive with vivid images from classic Disney animation.

Club Disney will also feature a cool seating area and snack station, where your Clients can refuel and recharge – both themselves and their electronic devices – before heading out for more adventures at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Club Disney premieres at Sunset Showcase on Dec. 5, 2015.
