Wreck-It Ralph is about to return to the big screen, but it looks like he might also be making a big move into Disney Parks, replacing one of the least popular attractions currently running.

Dog-Friendly Resort Policy Continues at Select Walt Disney World Hotels

Disney will continue to evaluate our pilot offering Guests at four Disney Resort hotels an opportunity to bring their canine companions with them for an additional charge. These include Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Designated dog-friendly rooms are available to accommodate Guests traveling with up to two dogs per room. Guests traveling with their dogs must register them with the front desk at the resort and adhere to the pet policies they receive upon registration. These include reminders about proper care and behavior, as well as the need for the dog to remain on a leash at all times while in public spaces. Guests must be able to provide documentation that their dog’s vaccinations and inoculations are up to date, upon request.
While the majority of areas will remain canine-free, certain floors or sections of each of these four hotels have been designated as dog-friendly. Guests who prefer rooms in canine-free areas may make a request at the front desk. Please note that the campsites and cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will remain pet-friendly. Walt Disney World also continues to offer 22 resort hotel options that do not have similar dog-friendly policies.

Food and Beverage at the Disneyland Resort
Food and Beverage and Storytelling
- Since 1955, Disney Parks have been where guests connect with the Disney stories and characters they cherish most, and the food and beverage offerings play an integral role in those stories.
- Food and beverage is one of the key elements that make up a Disney theme park experience, with unique restaurants and cuisine that put guests inside the story. Blue Bayou Restaurant has been immersing guests in the story of Pirates of the Caribbean since 1967 at Disneyland Park, and Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park invites guests to dine in Flo’s V8 Cafe from the Disney•Pixar movie “Cars.”
Innovation of Disney Dining
- In recent years, Disney has transformed the theme park dining experience, and has been recognized by both consumers and industry experts for exceptional, innovative, fun and healthy dining experiences.
- Innovation is at the core of the Disney dining experience. From immersive dining that brings guests into the stories they love to the broad range of options, varying from five-star restaurants to quick-service choices, Disney Parks are moving the culinary industry forward.
Plenty of Delicious Dining Options Offer Something for Every Guest at the Disneyland Resort
From fast-casual fare to haute cuisine, the menu of dining options at the Disneyland Resort offers something for every guest. Here, waffles with the Disney characters are as celebrated as the spectacular creations at Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge.
The rise in fine dining at the Disneyland Resort is often an unexpected delight. At the hotels, top award winners are Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. A stellar wine program has elevated the quality of dining service throughout the Resort, with trained and advanced sommeliers in restaurants including Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55 and StorytellersCafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park.
12 Disney World walls that are perfect for Instagram
Walt Disney World is home to countless magical spots, but have you heard about the many unique walls of Disney World?
Yes. You read that correctly. There are a variety of different walls scattered throughout the theme parks and resorts that are picture-perfect backdrops. They are quickly becoming the “it” photo opportunity to show off on Instagram.
Disney World: How to make the most of a busy vacation
Vacation is hardly the word most people would use to describe a trip to Disney. Forget rest. One of the more popular travel books about the theme parks, The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World even has a chapter titled “The Vacation that Fights Back.”
Disney Parks’ Halloween 2018 Merchandise Is A Spooky ’90s Baby Dream
Summer has flown by and fall will soon be upon us. This means getting to watch the leaves change color, breaking out all of your comfiest oversized sweaters, and enjoying all of the pumpkin and salted caramel flavored treats you can find. The arrival of fall also means that one very important day is approaching: Halloween. And, more importantly for Disney lovers, the arrival of fall means Disney Parks’ Halloween merchandise is about to drop in a big way.
Enjoy the Spirit of Día de los Muertos This Fall at Disneyland Resort
This fall, your Clients are invited to visit Disneyland® Resort for the return of special seasonal experiences in both parks inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
At Disney California Adventure® Park, Disney•Pixar’s Academy Award-winning hit film “Coco” is at the heart of Plaza de la Familia, a limited-time festivity at Paradise Gardens. Families visiting Plaza de la Familia can share meaningful memories of loved ones at the interactive Memory Wall, enjoy the iconic Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location and take part in a new mask-making craft that depicts an alejibre (spirit guide) from the film “Coco.” Your Clients will find themselves drawn to the immersive art exhibit The World of “Coco,” the emotional Mariachi music performed on the bandstand and the delicious Mexican food menu at Paradise Gardens Grill.
Several times daily, the uplifting show A Musical Celebration of Coco brings together the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia and the Grammy-award winning Mariachi Divas for a festive show of music and dance that tells the incredible story of young Miguel’s journey as seen in “Coco.” New this year, this charming troupe of singers and authentic Folklórico dancers is joined by Miguel, brought to life in a whimsical, hand-crafted style inspired by traditional Mexican folk art.
Also at Disney California Adventurepark, your Clients can visit Cars Land, where an ofrenda (a remembrance altar) pays tribute to Doc Hudson (aka, the Fabulous Hudson Hornet). Look for it at Ramone’s House of Body Art, just down Route 66!
Over at Disneyland Park, Zócalo Park in Frontierland is decked out with an elaborate and colorful display in honor of Día de los Muertos. This immersive setting features beautiful marigolds and papel picado throughout the installation, along with a traditional ofrenda, calaveras (sugar skulls), an iconic figure of La Catrina and delicious food at the nearby Rancho del Zócalo.
These special experiences inspired by Día de los Muertos take place Sept. 7-Nov. 2, 2018 at Disneyland Park.
