Walt Disney World’s resorts, much like its theme parks, have an amazing ability to transport you to another place and time. Entering the enormous Victorian atrium that is home to the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, for example, one gets an overwhelming feeling not unlike Cinderella must have felt arriving at the royal ball.
