To many who fly to the Orlando area transportation from the airport to your resort is something you have to line up. Disney offers Magical Express, which is a complimentary shuttle and luggage delivery service from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort. The good news is that it is free and when you plan a Disney vacation, any money you can save helps out the budget. A few negatives about this service is the fact that the Magical Express bus may stop at a few resorts before arriving at yours, your bags may not arrive at your resort for several hours later, and most importantly you must be staying on Disney property.
Another option is taking a taxi from Orlando International Airport to your resort. A one-way trip from Orlando International Airport and your Walt Disney World Resort will cost you about $60. The negative to a taxi is it may be difficult to try to fit more than a couple of people and their bags in a regular taxi. Shuttle vans are also available to transport you to your resort, and while shuttle vans will definitely fit a family and their bags inside, the one-way cost can run about $30 per person.
That brings me to Limousine transportation. I will be the first to admit that before Dixie Limousine partnered with us I was very hesitant to even think about using a limo for transportation. To me it just seems like limo service should be very expensive. At least that is what I thought. Then I saw how expensive cab rides can actually be and I inquired what a limo ride would set me back. I went to Dixie Limo’s website and something immediately caught my attention. They don’t just offer limos, but they have towncars and vans as well. I guess I never thought that deeply about it, but at least there are some alternatives to using a company like that than just limousines.
The price that Dixie Limo charges for a one-way trip from the Orlando International Airport is $65 in a town car. That is only $5 more than a taxi! Heck they even have a $5 coupon on their website thus making the trip cost exactly the same. And unlike the shuttle vans that charge per person, they charge by the trip. So if you have several people with you the cost can be split up making it even cheaper.
If you are someone who wants to arrive right away and not waste valuable park time sitting on a bus, then you may want to look into transportation from the airport to your resort courtesy of Dixie Limousine. I can only speak about Dixie Limo as that is the service I have personally used, but if you need a high class way to arrive at Walt Disney World, taking a limo or town car isn’t quite as expensive as you might have thought.

Dixie Limo does partner with our site, but I have used other services in the Walt Disney World area and would recommend Dixie Limo hands down. They provide a clean, friendly and professional service. I have ridden in a town car and a limo…..I have used them for round trip service and just for a return to the airport. The service was amazing and helped us feel like we were on vacation.
