Intimate horse-drawn carriage rides depart from Boatwrights Dining Hall for a 30-minute trip up and down the scenic Sassagoula River. Each carriage can hold either 4 adults—or 2 adults and 3 small children. The trip costs $45 per carriage.

Disney’s Pirate Adventure

Little Landlubbers (ages 4 to 12) go on a 2-hour hunt for treasure and adventure on the high seas of Disney’s Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The boat, with its Jolly Roger raised high on its mast, sets sail for one port of call after another (other Magic Kingdom area Resorts). When the ship runs aground, the pirates get to run amok, searching for buried treasure in designated areas and dividing up the loot they uncover. A hearty lunch, a special pirate bandana and lessons in pirate catch-phrases are provided for the adventure. The cost is $28.17 plus tax per child and space is limited, so make your reservations well in advance by calling ((407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

Wonderland Tea Party

From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m every weekday, children ages 4 to 12 can join Alice and her curious friends at 1900 Park Fare for some “tea” (apple juice) and Crumpets (cupcake). A “mad” time is had by all as kids decorate their own cupcakes, have fun making a craft and delight in the silly antics of familiar characters from Wonderland.
