Flower & Garden Festival

Beginning March 3 through May 16, 2010, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, presented by Disneynature, is a spring special event filled with a colorful array of flowers, gardens, topiaries, live music and educational events.

You don’t have to be a gardening expert to love this event. It’s perfect for Guests of all ages who enjoy the beauty of mother nature! See millions of blooming flowers and a vibrant collection of Disney-themed topiaries, and get up close with hundreds of colorful butterflies inside Minnie’s Magnificent Butterfly Garden. On the weekends, meet with top horticulturists at one of the many Garden Town Programs and learn helpful gardening tips, and be sure to attend public demonstrations of advanced gardening techniques from around the world.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the festival, finish off the day with a melodious evening at the America Gardens Theatre adjacent to the American Adventure Pavilion and enjoy music from the 1960s and 1970s during the Flower Power Concert Series.

Plus, you can bring some of the magic back home with you—you’ll find plenty of gardening tools and products to help you grow and maintain the perfect garden.

  • Community Garden – Come see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy topiaries gardening in the special community garden.  This garden represents the 2010 celebration “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day.”

  • New this year! Herbs and Vegetables Home Grown - Canada Pavilion – presented by Rainbird Corporation. Learn how to conserve water wisely.
  • Green Garden – Learn how to create an environmentally friendly garden that doesn’t use much water.  Use native plants and recycle.
  • Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden- Test Track Walkway- Topiaries of the fairies and play structures designed for kids 2-5.
  • Minnie’s Magnificent Butterfly Garden – Test Track Walkway – Presented by Disneynature – This area features colorful foliage with hundreds of free-flying butterflies.
  • Pirates Adventure Zone – Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Croc topiaries will lure young swashbucklers to this interactive space designed for exploration and adventure.
  • Cinderellabration – Cinderella’s coronation day. Celebrate with the royal court in topiaries.
  • The Garden Town Festival Center – Shop for festival merchandise, watch demonstrations, attend speaker presentations and speak to gardening experts.

    See some of your favorite fairies, in topiary, from Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. Play structures designed for children ages 2-5.

    Fragrance Garden France Pavilion – Presented by Guerlain, Inc Daily

    Let your senses take over as you experience the pleasure of this captivating garden, featuring the radiant and sensual fragrances of Guerlain. Explore the “love story” between plants, fragrance and perfume. Experience a complimentary twenty-minute tour with a Guerlain Representative at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Sign up at the Guerlain Shop in La Signature.

    English Tea Garden United Kingdom Pavilion hosted by Twinings®

    Discover the history and art of tea blending and explore various tea plants as you stroll through this elegant English Tea Garden. Sign-up for a complimentary twenty-minute guided tour at the Tea Caddy hosted by Twinings® at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Fridays-Sundays.
