Emily Osment, the 18-year-old actress-singer-songwriter knows better than to reject the young audience that has made her a Disney Channel star, but she admits to wanting to make a name for herself outside “Hannah.” That’s why you likely won’t find “Hannah” star Miley Cyrus on Osment’s upcoming album, scheduled to come out this summer.
“I’ll always be thrown in with her, which is great because I love Miley, but this is separate from ‘Hannah Montana,’ separate from acting,” Osment said backstage after her show. “This is my own thing, where I’m not playing a different character.
